Profiles are only written for retired players. Zidane has only just retired. There are a couple of players still waiting for a profile who retired a long time ago. I guess Zidane will have to wait a while... EDIT: Just noticed that profiles Über-Meister Comme has in fact written a profile on a player that is still active!!! What happened there? EDIT: I just realized it was done for the All-Time Draft (Nesta). Nobody picked Zidane, hence no profile on him.
I've done a couple actually. I did Maldini first because he is one of my idols. Recently I did Nesta for the all-time Italian draft. I could do Zidane, but not right now. I have a fair few players ahead of him in my queue and am really busy for the conceivable future.
Hey Comme, Didn't George Best coached an african national U17 team and few others? I didn't see that in his profile. Hang loose guys
Kaushik selected him and had to endure the wrath of the other participants for it. His first pick and 18th overall...
Why don't you write articles at Wikipedia? I've wrote/added to a few articles on football players there myself.
Personally I don't like Wikipedia because people can edit what you have written and add incorrect things to it.
That's what I thought as well. Would be interesting to try it out with one player, though. Let's see how many (incorrect) changes will be done by other Wikipedia users. For a comparison, Wikipedia's entry on Danny Blanchflower compared to BigSoccer's (Comme's): Wikipedia on Blanchflower Comme's Profile on Blanchflower Quite a difference. Assumed we would add our profiles to Wikipedia, the question would be how should it in fact be done? Simply removing what's been written by others before? That would be pretty unfair, even if it is less detailed or less accurate. The other options would be to somehow amalgam it, which would mean quite a bit of work, to make it look like a whole. Thus I don't see it happening (except maybe for players where Wikipedia does not have an awful lot of text for, maybe only three or four sentences).

Great work, but of course there will always be some players missing. Michael Laudrup is in my opinion a player who deserves to be represented on this list, but thats just my opinion.
