    Why would you think Otsu will go back to the JLeague? I mean, he would've done it in the summer if he wanted, probably? Also next year in the summer he'll have the option to leave Venlo for free for another dutch club or sign again with them

    I thought he stayed at VVV because J-League was still on-going. Also, it's more about other teams wanting him. I just don't think he has done enough to interest an Eredivisie team. I'd rather see him play in the J-League than Eerte Divisie. Usami should have stayed in Europe though... He seemed to be more than a good fit in the Bundesliga.

    Ah, I see. No, I think Otsu said he wanted to stay there himself. He definitely had interest from JLeague clubs, I guess
    Yeah he hasn't done much and I'm not sure if other 2nd division dutch teams can sign a japanese (I mean rule-wise) but like I said, I'm confident Venlo would sign him again if he wants.
    Usami said he was frustrated and "needed to play for the crowd" He's still so young that it may have been a wise choice. Next year he has to confirm himself in J1 and in 2015 we'll see

    A likely outcome, but I wish he'd come back to J-League. It's a higher quality league.

    As for Usami, I was rather disappointed with his return to Japan. It wasn't like he couldn't prove himself in Germany like Omae and Kanazaki. Hope he tries again soon.

    France underrates japanese football and most of teams in Ligue 1 plays a physical football (movements around the ball are quite poor) which seems not adapted with classic japanese players. Paris, Monaco, Lorient and some others play good, but it's a minority. OM ? Remember Koji Nakata :cry:

    Of course, we know some exceptions. For example, I think Honda would succeed. Havenaar too.

    I think Havenaar could succeed in clubs as Evian T-G, Ajaccio, Valenciennes or even Toulouse.

    What was this? He really didn't saw that ball? maybe because of snow in his eyes, otherwise I can't explain how he didn't saw the ball.

    Maybe Ajaccio, but in this moment, the others teams have better strikers than Mike. Even, Yatabare at Guingamp.

    I know Russian clubs are out of table now for Japanese players, but I'd like to see someone big (Yamaguchi? Yamada? Saito?) going to Anzhi: they're unbuilding everything and someone like the ones I've mentioned would shine there.

    A couple of transfer windows are still open like Turkey and Russia I think but I think we're done.

    So, the transfers were:

    Keisuke Honda -> AC Milan (lots of people were right)
    Yuya Osako -> TSV 1860 München (Saku and Keren got him)
    Kazuki Nagasawa -> Koln (nobody guessed)
    Mitsuru Maruoka -> loan to Dortmund (same, obviously)
    Unsure if Nishi has joined Matsui's previous team or not (nobody guessed)

    this should be it unless I forgot someone...

    I ignored all posts like "kagawa to x" or "Miyaichi to y" since it was Jleague -> Europe only

    so:
    Congrats to Blue-san who won by playing it safe :D

    1. Blue-san 2 points ( Honda 1p. Italy 1p)
    2. Saku 1 point (Osako 1p France -0,5p Honda 1p. Italy 1p. Endo -1p. Germany -0,5p)
    3. zdrstvte: 0,5 points (Honda 1p. Italy 1p Kakitani -1p. Germany -0,5p)
    4. SB2002 0 points (Honda 1p. Kakitani -1p )
    5. Clad -1 point (Kakitani -1p Germany -0,5p. Honda 1p Italy 1p Yamaguchi -1p - Netherlands -0,5p)
    6. BigDnm01 -1,5 points ( Kakitani -1p. Italy -0,5 )
    7. me and Keren : -999999 points haha. I got just Honda, he Honda and Osako but we put tons of players. :D

    See you in the summer

    soo, it's almost that time already

    rules are in the first post,
    we have all the summer lol.
    Of course, you can't post about player whose transfer is already completed so making a post at the end of august isn't going to be too smart.

    soo my stuff this time:

    Kakitani -> ?
    Haraguchi -> Bundesliga
    Saito -> Bundesliga
    Yamaguchi -> Serie A
