    I notice that many of those at the top also tended to do well in the 1999 World Soccer vote - i.e. vs contemporaries. The top 5 is all in the top 50. And of the top 10 also Batistuta and Stoichkov are in the top 50. Laudrup is 59th, Giggs 83th and Sammer 91th.
