Thanks to you guys here in the Italian forum I've been following Berardi closer. He seems like the real deal. And with the lack of quality strikers in Italy right now, hopefully he becomes as good as people say.

Here I am. I love Berardi and I think we will become a huge key player for us very soon.

Let's just hope he's not another Aquilani, I know they aren't the same position but Aquilani was a star when he was younger and was mediocre in his prime years and never lived up to his hype. Berardi has the same temperament as Totti, doesn't give a ********. I like it

Its possible but I highly doubt it. I think he is the new Messi or at least the new Robben. He was relied on a lot when he carried Sassuolo to Serie A. He hasn't stood out in the Serie A top goal scorers this season yet, but that will come over time. He has though made tons of assists.

I hope he's not the next Mattia Destro lol.

haha same. I like players with an edge as long as it doesn't derail their career's like Cassano.

Berardi scores a pk late in the game vs Inter today. 45 goals at his age, not bad at all.

Great assist as well on the third goal. Hopefully Conte picks him for the March friendly.

Berardi needs to put a few more solid weeks together to give Conte zero doubt in March.

Is Berardi at Euro 2012 in doubt?

Of course he should be there! Keeping him off the team until he is 24-45 would be a mistake.

Well rumors now are saying that Berardi might be tested out in the friendlies. What I just love about Berardi is he can technically play on both sides. Candreva and Bernardeschi on the right, and Insigne on the left with maybe SES, but Berardi could play there as well.

There are also rumors that Conte might be going back to a 3-5-2 formation because of Marchisio's absence and Insigne risks being snubbed, and if thats the case, I wouldn't be surprised if Bernardeschi is also snubbed. I think its a terrible idea though. 3-4-3 looks perfect for the players we have.
