Since the Spaniards know and like him from the NTs, who are those foreign known troublemakers? Cristiano obviously. Bale will likely leave, Benzema lucky to stay. Varane? Lukita? Kroos? Marcelo?
With the Spanish core firmly behind him and allegedly even suggesting him to the president, I see no problem for him with the dressing room.

...and actually at the age where he actually forgets what the players names are and has to look them up. Wenger was worth getting excited about back when the Sega Dreamcast came out, just stop it.

If you spent all your time talking about managers and WAGS because the quality of the actual football you had image rights to was as exciting as watching paint dry you'd being saying something similar just out of habit. Lol

You talking about Ali Moreno, Shaka Hislop, Craig Burley and those dummies? I can't take any of them. And they are always yelling.

I watch them when I need an ego boost. They make me realize I do know a bit about football and have at least 2 brain cells still functioning upstairs.

I hope he knows there are no more excuses. He must produce and do so consistently.

What a stupid thing to say after you have been coached by Zizou for a couple of years.

I'm not sure that's the take away message here.

What's the message then, that even if Lopetegui wins nothing in five years at the club he's better than Zidane, Ancellotti, etc.

I understand, but he still made the comparison and proclaimed him the best, better than Zizou.

He had probably had Lopetegui as a coach longer than he had Zidane and at more impressionable times as well, while he was in the Spanish youth national teams. So I don’t think he’s taking a shot at Zidane, but crediting Lopetegui to some degree with his development. No need to look for the scandal in everything, although we know that’s what you’re here for...

LOL. Ok. Carvajal has been coached by a few of the all time great coaches including Del Bosque, Carlo, and Zidane. (Mou?).

Of course he is entitle to his opinion, and should support his new coach, but I think he's gone a little overboard and certainly don't think anyone is buying that Lopetegui is better than any of the above.

Think of guys like Pellegrini and Juande Ramos, who have won more at club level than Julien, nobody doubts they are "good" coaches, but they didn't make it here for whatever reasons.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. I don’t think his comment was in any way his ranking of who he thinks the best overall coach is, probably just the coach that has contributed the most to his development or made him feel the most confident or effective.

I don't think you can really tell someone else who their favourite people to work with are. That's not how it works.
