Here's our EC 2013 qualifying schedule:

    vs. LATVIA (H)
    vs. NETHERLANDS (A)
    vs. GEORGIA (H)
    vs. ROMANIA (A)
    vs. LATVIA (A)
    vs. NETHERLANDS (H)
    vs. GEORGIA (A)
    vs. ROMANIA (H)

    ---------------------

I like it, especially since we end our campaign at home with an assured two points.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Btw, if anyone has ever wondered about our b-ball history, here it is (note --- we've never qualified for the FIBA World Championship or the Olympics, but have made it to Eurobasket):

    EC 1993 - 8th out of 16 teams
EC 1995 - did not qualify (eliminated in last round of qualifying)
    EC 1997 - 15th out of 16 teams
    EC 1999 - 15th out of 16 teams
    EC 2001 - 15th out of 16 teams
    EC 2003 - 15th out of 16 teams
    EC 2005 - 15th out of 16 teams
EC 2007 - did not qualify (elimanated in last round of qualifying)
EC 2009 - did not qualify (elimanated in last round of qualifying)
    EC 2011 - 17th out of 24 teams

So, we've qualified several times (seven to be exact), not bad if you ask me. And if you're wondering how we got eighth place in 1993, well we can thank Nenad Markovic, EC 1993's leading scorer (25 ppg). Here are some videos on him -

    ---

    Great news.

Reading your sentences puts me in the state of mind of a mentally challenged person. Work on your grammar sir.

And our players don't need to go to the NBA to be successful. Thats not the problem, the problem is that countries like Slovenia and Turkey are snatching our young talent and the rules are set up in a way that favors them.

I defnitely agree, we don't need NBA players, we need players who play in good European leagues and can help out the NT

Anyways, now with the addition of Sinanovic, here's what our lineup should look like to me:

    PG - Vasiljevic
    SG - Domercant
    SF - Dedovic
    PF - Teletovic
    C - Sinanovic

    BENCH:

    Kikanovic
    Bavcic
    Bajramovic
    Hodzic
    Gordic
    Kapelan
    Ikonic
    Varda*

    * = if he returns (if not, we can replace him with Tuljkovic)

The starting lineup is very good, all the starters play for great clubs especially Teletvic (Caja Laboral/Spanish League which is second best to the NBA). Also, we have some depth on the bench in Hodzic, Bajramovic, Bavcic, and Gordic. Then the rest are decent role players.

I'd rather start Gordic at PG to be honest.. Vasiljevic is so experienced but I think at his age he should come off the bench for us. Gordic gives us that tough defensive presence and he always protects the ball well, and doesn't try any risky passes/assists.

I absolutely love watching basketball, but I can't stand Eurobasket or any of the european contests. The style of play is dreadful. All it is in Europe is a 3 point shoot out.

Thats not true man, its not just the 3, its just a more important aspect of the game. For me personally, the NBA is vastly superior but the European game is becoming more and more competitive.

Europe is ahead in America in terms of fair calling (obviously we see a disadvantage for average players vs super stars)

But america in play overall blows Europe away.

Of course. The athleticism in the NBA is out of this world. That's the modern game now anyways. Its more about athletic ability. That's why a lot of European players struggle in America. They're labeled as soft if they don't compete to their terms.

    ---

    So happy we have him.

So, 'll do a "Bosnians Abroad" but for basketball. Here's how the Bpsnians did in Euroleague (I'll include Bosnians playing for a NT other than Bosnia):

Mirza Teletovic - 13 pts, 7 rbd (this is a bad game by his standards, lol)

    Emir Preldzic - 9 pts, 2-7 shooting

Bojan Bogdanovic - 19 pts, over 40% from two/three pointers

Nedzad Sinanovic - fell out of rotation this game so DNP (very surprising)

    Henry Domercant - 16 pts, 5 rbd, 2 ast

    Bosnians Abroad for the Week

Our NT captain Kenan Bajramovic put up some great numbers in his team's 84-74victory over Mersin (he plays for Banvit BK). - 21 pts., 4 rebd., 6/6 free throws

One of our NT centers Edin Bavcic played great for his Greek club, KAO Dramas. He won player of the week. - 25 pts., 13 rbd.

Mirza Teletovic, the best player on our NT, led Caja Laboral to an 80-79 victory with these stats - 21 pts., 7 rbd.

Fascinating, this is the brother of Drazen Petrovic I believe, a great man. I don't think Sabit Hadzic is cut for the job, this man would do a great job. Sve najbolje :)

Actually, instead of reading off Wikipedia, read the article and it says that the man who has managed

(Dnevnik.ba)"

Those are the teams that Aleksandar "Aco" Petrovic managed. Not Aco Petrovic the Serbian. This one is the brother of Drazen who managed Croatia.
