that Sandro guy on Spain how old is he? he looks like a combination of Sneijder and Iniesta that old ********kk
No way was that a penalty. Literally I don't think he even intended one. Anyway I gotta say it was an ok first half. The only thing that worries me a little, is I think we did slip up in the midfield on a few occasions which put us under some dangerous pressure. Although we were able to clear it quite well. We just need the midfield to be more alert and not allow Spain to get in our half in dangerous areas. Also we need to be just a little more sharp in attack, and I believe we can score soon. Its been a really even game if you ask me. Spain has had more possession and has looked dangerous at times, but we have had more shots on target and have forced the Spanish goalkeeper into way more saves. Lets hope luck goes our way in the second half.
Berna bails Italy out with a goal from nothing. I'm not sure they have enough in the tank to go through tonight but it should be an interesting finish.
I'm not making excuses but they look dog tired from one day's less rest and that stupid red doesn't help. Petagna is just so awful. I don't know what the point of having him in there is. It weakens the midfield and you don't get any scoring prowess.
The tournament organizers are stupid to have 2 days rest before the semis. Just too big a hill to climb when you don't have Conti or Berardi either.
Galgiardini sending off was down to lack of experience. If you're going to send Spain home you need to be extremely disciplined and organized which we weren't for pretty much the entire tournament.
probably should of played a 3-5-2... Anyways we didnt have much of a stand out presence from any of the players..... Well perhaps Pellegrini...
It's not bleak, its still a good future. But lets face it for the last 10 years Spain has been on another level above Italy. In the 80's, 90's half of the 2000's Italy was always ahead of Spain. Spanish clubs develop great talents, they don't have an Udinese type club that doesnt care about Italian youth.
