    This Buzzfeed article tells how @TheAthleticSCCR is disrupting British football journalism, creating a “transfer window” for journalists and causing crisis meetings at The Times.

    It's like watching Silicon Valley in action. Of course, lately SV disruption has not proven to be a good thing... But the article is interesting.


    You probably know that The Athletic (theathletic.com) is a subscription service whose mission is to become the New York Times of sports journalism. I started subscribing after George Quraishi sold Howler Magazine and he and Brooks Peck took over TheAthletic's soccer section. I really enjoy theAthletic's articles and highly recommend subscribing.
