Some of the greatest players of our time had trouble adapting to Barcelona, Henry, David Villa for example. Can't really say for sure.
As I said later, Guardiola has been great in allowing players to gracefully age and change. Gündogan is still fantastic for him after multiple almost career ending setbacks. Guardiola is a system coach, Zidane is a player coach.
The club wanted to get rid of Schweinsteiger and gave the blame to Mou back then. The huge contract they have him was an instant regret thing for them.
Kroos would be fine for certain schemes with this squad but as an undisputed starter taking minutes away from younger more ambitious players it's not a good fit.
We basically have to be the complete opposite of what we were against PSG. We had games like the one on Wed when JL was coach and went into the next game with the exact same players, game plan and intensity, so it’s a interesting time to see what Zidane does differently in a similar situation.
Yes ‘keeper...FUCKING HELL. YES ‘KEEPER. https://t.co/1g8sPIoVVH— MUNDIAL (@MundialMag) September 22, 2019
Well soon Kubo and pls. don`t tell me he start on the bench - he should be a starter how he fixed a penalty last game.
2-0 La Real. Odegaard with a nice outside of the boot pass to open up Espanyol defense for the second goal.
What do you guys think of Ødegaard work rate? He isn’t the next Ozil, correct? I missed this game, but I am hearing good stuff about our boy.
His fault for believing in Cerezo to be honest. James would probably face the same fate. We did the same with Saviola. Didn't even need him, Calderon just got him to rub it into Barca's face.
