I would say first they need institutional changes. Woodward is imbecile. Secondly, they need a quality coach who has the capacity to rebuild squad and create players - example Pochettino. Followed by 5 quality signings at least.

Just to add to this (its implied in your post, but maybe not totally clear to some), if Spurs win CL and finish outside the top 4 and Arsenal/Chelsea win the EL and also finish outside of the top 4, then the 4th place EPL team will not compete in the CL.

AFAIK, that's the only scenario where you can finish 4th in the EPL and not qualify for the CL.

It actually can happen this season, but would require Man Utd to beat City and Chelsea this week for starters.

CHO non-contact injury. Pedro comes in. Big loss for the top 4 race if he's out for extended time.

Kante goes out with injury as well; Kovacic in.

I want to break the chains of the "shit thread title" culture and say that this is a fantastic thread title. Great work Eddie.

Man...……… he's making it impossible not to think about that crazy price tag that is rumored to be on his head. It's insane money but the kid is having a moment.

If we can somehow lower the price (offer them a loan back for a year) I would sign and stash this kid. But the money is crazy.

If not RM, I hope he ends up at Juve than the likes of City. Juve will cash in after few years like Pogba and Mendes will want another big transfer. If he goes to City, he won't be available on the market again.

Pretty bad result for Chelsea at home against a team with nothing to play for. Advantage goes back to Arsenal.

Both will be Benzema's back up to begin with so here is a question for everyone. 60m for Jovic or 70M plus incentives for Felix?

I guess mathematically speaking you are right, but they weren't going down no matter what happened tonight.

Huge loss. I wonder if this changes their summer transfer policy. Won't be easy to make the Champions now.

This is an injury that can keep him away until the winter. Hopefully they don't think of holding onto Hazard as a result

A couple of friends of mine who are not too familiar with football (hardcore NFL fans) just emailed me to settle the dispute about who the greatest GK of our lifetime is between Buffon and Oliver Kahn. It's like Christmas came early for me. I am about to give a highly emotional 30mins lecture about the undisputed greatness of the Saint. Closing with the Seville miracles.

    See you guys later. :D

We all love Iker obviously, he single handily held the fort in many a game during a dark period for the club, but if I’m speaking like a neutral then I’d have to say a prime Neuer is the best keeper I’ve seen play live .. as much as it pains me to say that, however obviously your friends don’t need to know that.
