Well, since it's a 4:30 am PDT start I have to hit the sheets almost immediately after getting home from my shift at Safeway (I clean the cutting room in the meat department Monday-Friday from 7-10 pm weeknights), so no time for KING 5 News even on KONG at 10:00 pm, I won't have that much time as it's a very early morning start, COYF'n'G!!! Let's make it back-to-back wins this season!!! I'll be up first thing at 3:30 am for Premier League Mornings on NBCSN, and in full HD at that!!! (in 1080i on my DISH ViP 211 receiver after upgrading to a new Sony a/v receiver with HDMI input jacks) My projection: 2-nil to The Arsenal, of course!!! Although Burnley have been the surprise club the past couple of years, we should be able to handle this.
Well, I just got back from my evening shift in the cutting room at the meat department at Safeway here in Port Townsend, so now without further adieu, I am hitting the sheets and I will be (hopefully, provided I don't oversleep) up and ready at 3:30 am PDT tomorrow morning, so goodnight, and COYF'n'G!!!
Laca with a brute-force, back-to-goal center forward goal. That's something Auba doesn't really do. Not sure about Pepe yet but I'm liking our complimentary balance on the forward line ATM.
I'm not liking our passing through the midfield, but I suppose the lack of understanding between our players is because our players haven't done a whole lot of playing together yet this season. Luiz, Ceballos, Nelson and Willock are all relatively new to the squad and to each other for that matter.
We don’t have a problem moving ball forward without Xhaka, but our build up still sucks. Lots of crossing —> turnovers And Burnley equalizes, Luiz kept him onside..
3rd time today Montreal is caught offside. So why does VAR come into play if the flag went up? What a sh*t show that would create if VAR comes back and says he was actually onside and it was a goal. At that point doesn't Burnley argue that they all stopped playing when the flag went up? Or did the league tell all the players to play thru the flag now??
Ceballos looks eager to be involved, eager to impress, eager to produce. And displaying his bag of tricks. As long as he doesn't give up too many deadly turnovers, he could be the real deal. P.s. He was a little culpable not stopping the ball into the box on their goal.
Emery looks as animated and intense today, as if it were the end of season and we were fighting for 4th place. Hmm... Edit: I like it
Burnley press high and hard on goal kicks but then don’t try at all once we get past the first third. Cloggers
