The Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion
    Premier League
Ashburton Grove, Borough of Islington, London N5
    Sunday, 1 October 2017
    KICKOFF: 1200 UK/0700 Eastern/0400 Pacific
    US TV: NBCSN

For some reason, I thought this was an away match. Anyway, this was the best I could do for a thread pic; Google gave me next to nothing, besides the bare ass of a streaker from an old Liverpool v Brighton match. You're welcome for my restraint.

Brighton's rags-to-riches story is a good one. OK maybe near-riches. <20 years ago, they were minutes away from being jettisoned from the football league.

And Chris Hughton is someone I have a lot of compassion for: a very decent guy and essentially the only black manager who's clawed his way to the pinnacle of English football. Because of that, I'm generally rooting for him.

Except on Sunday, when I'd very much like it if we whipped their butts.

That goal reminded me of one of TFC's vs Red Bulls last night.

I can only hope that we will have the same result today that Toronto had last night. :p

At 38' Sanchez has been a non-factor so far. Let's hope that changes soon.

Giroud for Sanchez would put this game to bed.

I have to give Brighton props for that free kick routine too, but that seems to be all they have prepared for this game.

Have we found our level? We can comfortably beat Brighton at home?

professional job. Looked generally comfortable. Need to do better with chances in the box— act like we’ve been there before and not crap our pants , despite the great back healed by Sanchez A better team would’ve punished us on our giveaways. Not as impressive as the Manchester teams who are just leveling opponents. Obviously we’re fighting for our fourth-place trophy again. I guess that’s better than nothing

I'll gladly take a comfortable 2-0 win at home against anyone.

It wasn't THAT comfortable. B&H should have scored two goals in the first half and pretty much had the best of play the last 20 minutes.
