Granit Xhaka is best used as ammunition for the cannon.

Yeah like that somewhat wide-open shot from the edge of the box... the ball was smooth as it came to him and he skied it to Row Z.

Halftime. 1-1. Frankly we're lucky not to be losing 1-3.

Here's hoping we come out with some more offensive aggressiveness and QUOLITEEEEE and put the hammer down.

Xhaka has been shit... but also the formation is asking him to be way more mobile than he is. So I don't know why he is put out there to fail.

If AW doesn't switch to a 5-man midfield to outnumber them in there, I don't even know what to say. Right now we are out numbered in the midfield and the final third, so what is the plan for a forward pass?

More the Swansea goal, where he just let Clucas run by him into the box.

Lacazette really figures into so few of our attacking plays.

besides Monreal, almost no one plays up front, from the left side.

Waiting for Jitty to pop up and make a comment about the horrific spacing, and movement.

The average position chart that they showed at halftime looked like we are keeping our overall shape pretty well, no?

The pitch looks slightly dryer now. But it still calls out for some incisive passing rather than around-the-horn stuff. Maybe even some balls in the air or over the top? Heaven forbid.

They said that the last 6 times Wenger has faced Swansea, that they've had 5 different managers. Ouch.

But Carvalhal has got them playing much better offensively, actually scoring goals and believing again. He may just last the rest of the season. ;)

Well no Ollie, but we get Mkhi in the 60th minute. We can only hope he does as well as Sanchez did on his United debut.

Edit: Meanwhile Cech with a royal f-up and we go down 2-1.

Passing and movement has been poor . Thoroughly outplayed by the worst team in the league .

Giroud has to be glad he only has 25 minutes left of this to watch.

Pretty sure they're higher than us in the form table.

Edit: Nope, wrong. We are 6th and they are 12th. But clearly not the worse team in the league ATM.

Only transfer that will make a difference is Wenger's.
