I've seen parts of 2 or 3 games this season and that's it. What's the point? I don't get any enjoyment out of actually watching the game so I don't bother. I don't even listen to podcasts or read about them as much because it's the same thing over and over again and it has been since 2012.
I won't be sorry if/when they are both gone. Arsenal holds on too long to just about everything - Walcott being a great example. Of course none of that matters if they don't replace them with a quality DM and a box-to-box next to them - as you keep saying a 6 and an 8. That is this Arsenal squad's significant weakness.
I just want to point out that a lot of the references here are to a 4-3-3, but I see this squad as currently playing a 4-2-3-1 - or should be. IMO the best current set up would be cech bellerin-mustafi-kos-kolasinac el Neny-Wilshere Mhki-Ozil-Auba Lacazette And yes it hurts me to put el neny in, but someone has to offer some defensive cover and as poor as el Neny is he's better at that than Xhaka.
The two matches against Spurs this season have been almost perfect microcosms of our home and away form.
It's not disinterest, because I still am interested. It's that watching/following is depressing and joyless and I'm old enough that I can cut way back on it without feeling guilty. I've done the same thing for other teams I'm a fan of and when it gets interesting and fun again I turn my attention back to it. So I still am interested, I just ignore it because it's infuriating rather than enjoyable.
We've had a thread since Tuesday, but you've blocked the person who started it. Here's hoping Prince has a long run, just for the lols.
Repped. Deja vu* *Last time this happened I tried unblocking him, it lasted maybe a day until he committed another infraction, which caused me to block him again. Oh well, this seems like a reasonable compromise. At least I'm not forced to leave the board entirely like @charlie15. And the only real downside seems to occur when he's a thread starter.
