I can see the potential in Iwobi at least. Laca has been worse than Perez and way more expensive.

I was skeptical of his signing but really wanted to be proven wrong and give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s just not good enough.

Cech hasn’t saved us a single point this season. I can’t even recall the last time he won us any points.

People don't rate Dier, but he and Dembele dominated the game so completely

If Mkhi and Ozil are going to play in the forward line, Arse desperately need a 6 and 8

    Lacazette looks bereft of confidence.

That trio is not the midfield you want to play in a big match.

Mhkitaryan had an absolute shocker too.

AMN must really be a shit player if he can’t get into that MF. That or he doesn’t yet have any compromising photos of the manager .

I honestly have no idea what matches you watch some times.

And yet I bet you if Mkhi & Ozil had played with the midfield 3 of Dier, Dembele, Alli - they would have been dominant

Relax, Mhki had a stinker. Don't save that performance today, we all saw it.

Petr is old and slow. That's reality. He's old. His reflexes and agility aren't going to speed up as he ages. Putting some youth between the posts should be a priority.

Not blaming him for today. He is one weakening link in the chain among many weak links.

But why did he have a stinker?

What frustrates me is that there always emerges this meme of Arsenals attacking players disappearing when there is no platform.

Wilshere was non existent until Spurs sat back and allowed him to play

If the midfield cannot get any kind of grip on the game - the offense will die.

Arse would be way better to sit deep and go long in that situation - so the front 3 game actually get some transitional ball!

How long is it gonna take for Arsenal to sign a proper CDM? They keep getting dominated in the midfield every game.

No, he got on the ball.

I would allow this for Ozil, but Mhki got on the ball and played some bewildering balls and crosses. He had a bad match and deserved to be hooked.

So no real surprises here - I fully expected Arsenal to lose this game 2-0 and the midfield selection with Ninny starting did nothing to change that

To be fair the team defended reasonably well in the first half and suffered a bad call on the Auba thru ball

But they truly had no answer when Spurs quaffed their half time PEDs, swamped midfield and blew them away for 30 mins

Nothing will be fixed until the base of midfield is fixed.

Need at minimum a senior elite CB, a proper 6 and an all action 8

One of Ramsey or Wilshere are probably acceptable short term as the third midfielder - though i'd prefer mkhi in midfield and get a real winger

also - bellerin is utter spank

I would have traded 4-0 for Wumger to be at risk of sacking

I don't know what you find so funny. Are the goals bigger dimensions in France or would you not expect a guy who scored 28 times last season to score either of those chances.

He never had the shot volume to be an elite striker - even in France

So what has been acquired is an OK striker, but inferior to Giroud.

His chances had quite low xG so we would not actually expect him to score them. Arse had only .6xG in the whole game.

I got my times mixed up and forgot to record or watch this game.

I think I'm OK with that.

This will not happen until Wenger leaves. Sadly it appears the crypt keeper will never leave.

Brutal. But he gets it right. Too often we fail and are dominated on usually two if not all three of these...

Genuine question, do people really believe Wilshere has been our best player the last few months?
