Bonus Boxing Day footy from the South Coast kicks off at 5:15pm GMT/12:15pm EST/7:15am HST. Television coverage in the States to be provided by NBCSN.

Win, please. Preferably without having another defender go down injured. Also, sit Torreira. I don’t want to see him get a yellow and miss Liverpool on Saturday.

    Up the Arsenal.

I'm for that. Don't expect Emery to agree though.

And thanks for the thread mate.

We're wearing our away navy/red kits and whoever starts in goal (probably Bernd Leno without a doubt) on Boxing Day will be wearing the (how festive for this time of year!!!) green strip, Happy Holidays and COYF'n'G!!!

Currently on my XP laptop, as my main laptop is down right now, as something got into it when I tried to sync up my iPod classic to iTunes and it got locked up so I rebooted it by pressing off and then on again, my access was then denied as something must've gone on during the process.

You people ready for a Boxing Day tilt against Brighton, you know I AM!!!, so COYF'n'G!!!

You know, since we're gonna be with adidas for the next 5 years, I was thinking about how spiffy Wolves' primary kits are, how about almost the same for Arsenal next season, what do you guys think???

Torreira is in the XI. And every other fit player it seems. This coach doesn't seem too inclined for strategic rotation. Unless you believe he's playing Ozil to save Ramsey for the Anfield fight. Iwobi too? He tends to pick his strongest team, even against lesser opponents.

    Arsenal:
    19Leno
    12Lichtsteiner
    5Papastathopoulos
    6Koscielny
    31Kolasinac
    11Torreira
    34Xhaka
    29Guendouzi
    10Özil
    9Lacazette
    14Aubameyang

    Substitutes:
    1Cech
    4Elneny
    8Ramsey
    15Maitland-Niles
    17Iwobi
    49Nketiah
    59Willock

    Referee:
Anthony Taylor (NOT Mike Dean, phew)

Whoa what a goal fest on Boxing Day! Big changes in GD at the top of the table. More pressure on us... not only to win but to win BIG. So maybe his team selection is right on for that? As long as fatigue isn't too big a factor.

4' Auba looks in the mood today. Takes a very good save from their keep to keep the clean sheet. Nice bright start. Keep it going!

7' After FANTASTIC improvisational effort by Laca, it's 1-0 thanks to an Auba finish!

Laca did so much work on that goal, blocking the initial clearance and winning the ball back again after that, before somehow managing to get that ball out to Auba. Fantastic work and a great finish on top of it.

Really crazy finishes in the PL today. Take out the point blank finish at the end, and Sperz xG was something like .4 on the day. They won 5-0. Sometimes that happens.

    Great goal by Auba.

Yup. And on the replay we see how Laca was very smart to stay inactive when he was offside, only to let the defender control the ball, making a 2nd phase, where he then blocks the pass out from the corner, and begins the goal effort. If we could give 2 or 3 assists on a single goal, Laca would get my vote.

I really hope Kos can regain his top form and join Sokratis to form a choice, rock solid CB pairing. Time will tell.

We're very lucky there. Could easily be 1-1.

What constitutes a goalie having it in his possession? How many fractions of seconds in his grasp is long enough??

THAT play by Torreira is why he may be our best signing in years.

He gets possesion in our half, turns immediately towards their goal (instead of passing safely sideways), spots Auba running towards their area, hits a pinpoint pass over the top, and all that's left to do by Auba is to slot it by the keeper. (which sadly he flubbed)

Whoa what a f-up by us after the corner. 1-1

That's why we can't keep clean sheets. And why we're gonna have to score 3 to have a chance of winning this match.

That was an ugly goal to concede.

Odd that there was no one on the far side of the box to pick up that corner and prevent the counter. Bad set piece preparation there.

I would bet my house (if I had one) that Glenn Murray will score at some point.

Why is it at the pro level no one plays "garbage" on corner kicks? When I played we always had two players at the wide and high positions waiting for loose balls and clearances, and seemingly 3 out of 5 times they'd end up receiving a ball to play back in. Don't see that as much at the pro level.
