Minute 93 for me as well. We broke Atleti right there. La Décima was an obsession and finally we got it. Furthermore it put us on the path of winning the UCL 3 years out of 4. The UCL is our tournament. For me the event has to be from there. If not El Tamudazo in 2007 where in the penultimate round of La Liga Van Nistelrooy scores right at the end to tie the game against Zaragoza while Tamudo simultaneously scores to tie Espanyol's game against Barcelona to flip us back in the run for the league. In 18 seconds we went from being 3 points behind Barcelona before the final round to being tied on points with a better head to head record. In the next round we won the league to end a 4 year drought.
Every moment of that run in is etched in my memory forever. Rafael Sobis scoring against the culeros. Our remontada after remontada. Guti's magisterial ownage of Sevilla after coming on at HT. I can go on and on. That goal Carlos scored after running the whole length of the pitch in the last minutes away from home. Ruud's multiple golazos. Just look at Laporta.... ahahahahaaaa... At that moment he knew he was screwed.
Yes, it wasn't pretty, but it was majestic. All kinds of emotions, and it never was boring. Still I think for a club like ours a single defining moment has to be in the UCL, and Sergio's header definitely was that.
The RFEF has rejected our appeal, his second yellow card will not be rescinded and he will miss the match against Valencia. No surprise, the RFEF is a complete joke.
Not surprises at all. Referees could red card one of our players for staying on the ground too long while having a heart attack and we still wouldn't be able to get the card rescinded. RFEF are the biggest joke of an organisation I have ever seen.
Was not a dive, but still an expected result -- they do not want to acknowledge he was right in any way when he pushed the ref.
This is the Ramos red, not Ronaldo's. Neither were a red but we expected Ronnies sanction to stand because of what he did afterwards. The fact that Ramos's hasn't been overturned is insane but expected, as they will hardly ever admit fault.
We can't catch a break, https://www.managingmadrid.com/2018/1/5/16853326/ramos-injury-real-madrid-2018
Smh you guys killing me with this thread bump. I saw this... Took a deep breath; then saw the date and exhaled.
I wanted to drag this post from that other thread over here because this is something I always think about when we get in an uproar over his occasional knucklehead move. He stops or controls so many things that we take for granted, it's good to see this laid out like this video does. Thanks Eddie.

Unlucky slip today, but really good performance. I am really impressed by how often he makes interceptions and tackles at times you don't expect. Aerial monster as well. Definitely one of the top defenders in Real Madrid history at this point, no matter what happens in the final.
Sergio always comes up big in these matches. Not a perfect performance but there is no doubt that he did everything he possibly could to keep them from scoring more.
One of the best captains in our history for me. He's been an incredible leader since he took over from Iker. I love Iker but he was a horrible captain.
First true captain after legendary Hierro. Love the man ever since this picture took place. As much as I adore Raul, he just didn't have the character of a captain. Or better said, I prefer captains to be loud, self confident and a bit crazy. Maybe in the future, Carvajal can take his armband.
His best quality is how he unites our lockerroom. He doesn't apologize for being Spanish, but he doesn't punish others for not. This is where our foundation for togetherness and mental strength comes from. Best captain I have ever witnessed. Including Hierro.
