    playmaker extraordinair

Anyone who doesnt rate Ozil in the top 3 for the Racing game is just plain ignorant. Why do u want to know how their ignorance works?

I know where you're coming from, but sometimes it does work.

Thought those songs were nice though, maybe I was just in the mood.

People keep saying that first goal was Barca-like but I don't quite buy it, we didn't **********foot around like the Cules with all that insufferable bobbing and weaving about, we were much more direct and ruthless as and as a result much more awesome :D

Bingo, and that my friends is why it was a great goal. Sometimes watching the Cules "bobbing and weaving" is frustrating/boring as hell (well most of the times)

But then again, maybe I'm biased

I would have said it was more 2010 Germanesque than Barca...

But I may be biased...

I feel like that too  Take that goal against Italy, it was a result of 17 passes.

Both yesterday' goals were amazing, and play that led to them was just pure sex...

BTW, is it true that Xavi said to Sport Mesut is too individualistic? "Barcelona star Xavi has echoed the view of club legend Johan Cruyff that Real Madrid suffer for playing too much like a team of individuals. The midfield schemer thinks that their bitter rivals have too many players playing their own games, rather than working for the good of the team.

Angel di Maria plays too individually, Mesut Ozil plays too individually, Cristiano Ronaldo plays too individually”, said the Barcelona midfielder to Sport. “They run thirty or forty metres, it’s normal that you’re soon tired.”

Xavi went on to comment that Barcelona “play football together”, while Real Madrid “stands for individualism and a footballing response.”"

Probably. That's what they always say.

Atleast after they realise they don't have a chance to get Ronaldo. ;)

You damn fanboys always manage to bring it back to Germany

As far as Xavi who cares what he says? He is almost as big a hypocrite as Mourinho. He talks too much for his own good if you ask me since his words usually come back to bite him in the ass and make him look like an even bigger tosser than normal.

Absolutely love this kid and he's fast becoming my favourite in our famous white jersey, but damn he's so one-footed!

When he sets up Benz for his first goal, he uses the outside of his foot, Queresma like!:(

As a playmaker, I think that this maybe his only downfall to becoming a future world player of the year.

Comment from sid lowe's latest article in the guardian :

Madrid's first goal was probably the best in la liga this season the passing that led to it was mesmerizing and what can you say about Ozil that wasnt already said? 19 assists and 9 goals since joining the team , he could have more if his forwards were good finishers , and how did he cost ? 12 mil plus incentives ? WHAT A BARGAIN .
I wouldnt go as far as saying that Madrid play better without CR7 but their passing sure looked more fluid , with CR it isvless so because most of the time when he gets the ball instead of playing a simple pass he would do 1000000 step overs and thw fluidity is gone , yesterday you had 10 players out there not taking more than 2 touches on the ball most of the times and 10 players running like maniac to win it back when they lose it .
but 27 goals is not something you can do without if you want trophies

Just to clarify, that's a comment from the public on Sid Lowe's blog, not Sid Lowe himself.

Well, In tommy smyth's position I'd be getting bored of watching match after match too. I'd troll the crap out of whoever was listening instead. Do you really think guys like him watch most matches anymore?

Sid Lowe said he has to convince himself before even getting to the wife, and his focus is only on the Primera division.
