    So, I realize. Given the Cardiff situation, didn't know how things would be interpreted. As you recall they initially said that Cardiff couldn't represent England, then relented.

    They can be allowed to start their Welsh, Scottish and Irish for all I care though. Most of them stink anyway.

    Oh, I realize most aren't as good as Englishmen (despite what Roy Keane thinks) though there are some notable exceptions (Keane, Giggs, etc.). I'm really just wondering how Blatter, et al will see this.

    They pretty much made that decision before, when they weren't allowed in. It wasn't until Bosman that they were allowed to use those in the European Cups. I seem to remember the English teams complaining that they sucked in Europe because they weren't allowed to use them in the late 80s early 90s. Then they could and they sucked just as much. Or am I way off here.....

    Dunno, I started following the Prem in the early 90s so I was pretty unaware of a lot of these type of issues.
