Without question. Sweden played the defensive game pretty well and went a man up but why did they bring on Guidetti for Toivenon. He's slow as molasses in winter and not the kind of player you want on the pitch when you are defending a tie. It was a sweet final goal from Kroos.
Germany had nice offensive options, they were just wasteful - Didn’t need to wait ‘til the absolute last minute. Sweden played a hard and disciplined match, they deserved a point.
Poland is just atrocious to be honest. Every ball to Lewandowski and hope he creates something out of nothing. Aside from that, Colombia lost to Japan, although they had to play the entire match with 10 players. It's hard to gauge how good Colombia really is, but tonight they have indeed been fun to watch, especially Quintero and James. The latter wasn't a starter in the first match either, which is beyond me after seeing him play today. He should always start for Colombia. It will be interesting to see how they play against a very physical opponent like Senegal. The last round of the group stage will be very interesting.
James has been carrying an injury which is why he did not start in the first match. Poland was the seeded team in this group.
Uruguay-Russia match tomorrow should be interesting. Both teams are through but Uruguay need a win to take the group because of the goal differential. It's hard to figure out at this stage whether winning is good because so many of the groups are still in flux.
I'm not sure finishing 1st in their group is so good for Brazil right now. And also not for my $1K bet
Groups E&F are pretty wacky with multiple outcomes possible. Germany can still end up not qualifying if they slip up against South Korea. Mexico need at least a draw against Sweden or they could be out. I'm not sure Brazil is going to enjoy playing Serbia and they need at least a draw. That match could get really nasty.

Well played Iran. They took CR7 totally out of the match and saved a penalty from him as well. Really good strike by Quaresma at the end of the half. Too bad Iran did not have any offense. Disappointed that they took Alireza off the pitch late as he did score goals in the Eredivisie.
