Does anyone doubt that Russia will win in an utterly corrupt WC? It would not surprise me at all.

  9. Peru gouvernment has made moves to control the Peruvian FA. Several newspapers are saying that Peru will be barred from the WC by FIFA and either Italy, Chili or theNetherlands gets in.

I dont believe the 2018 World Cup will be corrupted (as in the winner will be pre-deterrmined).
There are too many checks and balances that would have to go into that, I dont think it could be done.

I DO BELIEVE however, that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was SO F_CKING fixed (I can't even wrap my head around that). Whats even worse, they now have to play that f__cking World Cup in the winter, just to convenience those filthy corrupted, oil Sheiks!!

I don't either, but to fix a World Cup would involve so many monumental people, to the point where I dont think it could be done (without some people snitching on the whole plan).

Funny thing is, the Greek guy I get my Souvlaki from every month is convinced the 2004 Euro was fixed in his favour. Its weird, because even if it was, why would he admit to such a thing??

They will make the quarter finals at least due to corruption, which is already too high for their level.

I believe Senegal is underated. Joachim Low said Morocco is the strongest african team for the WC, while some others said Nigeria or Egypt.
Senegal got the best 11 potentially from all the african teams but they also seem to be pretty irregular.
Tunisia is surely the weakest of all the african teams.

^^^ When Putin said that"We will do everything to make it a major sporting festival", I thought he mean "We will do everything to make it to the second round, and quarter final is quite possible". Let's see if the Russian players can play into extra time without getting tired or not.
Highlights: Lineker to Cannavaro:"It's nice to have an Italian involved in the World Cup."
Lineker to Maradona:"Diego has always been good with his hands."

  22. Funny, Group C gathered in the Feyenoord team with Tapia, Jorgensen and Jones.

Second round they'll face either Portugal or Spain, which means they're going bye bye. Hometeam advantage hasnt meant squat since France '98, and has happened only twice in the last 40 years
