I've got a prelim worked up for USL-C, but I'm withholding it out of respect for the nuclear bomb that SJE dropped yesterday afternoon on the Twitterz...

The standings in the first post had 68.5 percent of the games played. This year has played 63.7 percent of the games. 20 more games are needed to get above 68.5 percent, and that will happen on August 3.

I'm sure you meant to write 68.5% of the games have been played so far which is equal to when Knave started things last year. No better time than the present!

Over on the Crew boards we're talking about what we'd have to do to make the playoffs. Isn't the need to apply the harsh reality of the toast thread to us hopeful Crewligans reason enough?

Yes, yes, yes! Use the brutal truth of THE TOAST THREAD to crush their feeble hopes and dreams. Bwahahahahahaha!!!

    What? This series?

And I thought El Rey network only showed reruns of Stargate: SG1 and cheesy Godzilla films.

Yeah, are the Crew even eliminated from the Shield yet? LAFC lost and the Crew won last week. All of America wants to know.

We all know there cannot be a new Toast Thread until SJE falls to 8th place with a double-digit negative GD but still 2 games in hand.

It is the way of things.

It already happened in April, so we're good to go now.

I heard it's time to start the new threat now.

Looks like Matador is Toast, but what about FC Cin? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well guys, if you're so anxious for Toast, I hear you can get a free toaster if you open any account with the Royal Bank of Scotland, no conditions apply. It's a Toaster Bonanza!

That's false advertising. The ad says you can get a free toaster and no conditions apply, but you have to open a new account, ergo, there is a condition to getting your new toaster. False advertising!

Since we have gone from toast to toasters.....

Oh no, don't put out the fire. By all means, make a video of it first and post it on YouTube.

I would be tempted to open up an account and send the toaster to Nelson Rodriguez to tell him that the Fire are toast.

Maybe this should be the next supporters initiated version of the wooden spoon. Send the FO a toaster when we know the team will not make the playoffs.

I'm a person who likes calculators.

FC Cin can get 53, and LAFC has 49. LAFC won last night. If they win next Saturday and FC Cin doesn't win today and next Saturday, they can't win the shield. With 4 more points and 1 more game than FC Cin, the Crew can get up to 54. If they lose at the Red Bulls tonight, they need more points than LAFC next weekend to stay alive for the Shield. Next weekend LAFC plays at 7:30 P.M. because they're at New England, FC Cin hosts Vancouver at 8:00 P.M., and Columbus is at San Jose at 10:00 P.M. If FC Cin loses or draws tonight and Columbus loses, they will both be eliminated from the Shield before their games end next weekend if LAFC wins.
