Speaking for this paper, remember, their base is in the suburbs of Milwaukee, and the Republican places. Plus, this is also a largely passive-aggressive area.

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/bart-lebon-wins-alaska-state-house_us_5c020667e4b04fb211681d45

Republican Bart LeBon has won an Alaska state House race by one vote after a ballot recount, officials said.

Before Friday’s recount, LeBon and Democrat Kathryn Dodge were tied with 2,661 votes apiece.

Recount results showed LeBon with 2,663 votes while Dodge had 2,662 votes, after LeBon picked up two votes and Dodge picked up one, according to the Alaska Division of Elections.

A much talked about mystery ballot found weeks ago on a table in a voting precinct ended up playing no role in the race outcome. The ballot was tossed Friday after officials said it was determined to be a spoiled ballot from a voter who had made a mistake on it, told officials and then filled out a new ballot.

If LeBon’s win holds up, the GOP will control the House, Senate and governor’s office.

Dodge has five days to decide whether to appeal the outcome to the state Supreme Court. She didn’t make a definitive comment after the recount, saying she and her team would “think on things,” the Juneau Empire reported .

Well, at least this result won't affect congressional redistricting. Even Republicans would have a tough time gerrymandering a state that has only one congressional seat.

There is a small number of people who witnessed large numbers of these absentee ballots. One of them is Lisa Britt. 2 have the last name of Dowless.

    .

    So it's a family affair.

Again...there's absolutely no doubt in my mind there was an organized conspiracy to cheat. There's very little doubt in my mind that Harris was the nominee instead of Pittenger because they did the same crap in the primary.

Still doesn't look like THIS election result changed because of the fraud. Not enough votes in Bladen.

However, something weird happened in Robeson too. It's possible they threw away enough Dem votes there that, combined with what they did in Bladen, that did swing the election.

I guess the fact that your cheating wasn't enough to swing the election shouldn't really be the mitigating factor in annulling the result? ;)

Has anything been settled about the election board or if there could/will be a new election?

In my "health of democracy" thread I posted about how after Dem Cooper beat GOP McCrory in 2016 the GOPs passed a series of laws designed to weaken Cooper while McCrory could still sign them. It was a lame duck session.

One of those bills had to do with the BoE. I think that law took effect December 3, but it's in litigation.

tl;dr it's complicated as ******** it's like Florida man is running this shit so who the hell knows

Things just go from bad to worse
Starts with a kiss ends like a curse

    Then there's this

This was left behind at a meeting held for one of the candidates for sheriff, pre-primary. Notice "unsealed" is underlined. And there's a price there too. The meeting was NOT run by Dowless, but some other guy.

That's some ********ed up shit. This was SOP there.

So the NC GOP knew and probably paid for it... What are the chances that the RNC paid for it with Russian money they got from the NRA? I mean, it is completely within the realm of possibilities, isn't it?

You've got it backwards. They definitely paid for it. They probably knew.

This guy was a wizard for delivering absentee by mail votes in his part of the state. A normal person would be suspicious AF. My guess is Harris and the NCGOP didn't know precisely how Dowless was breaking the law, but they knew that shit won't legit.
