With basically any device. The MLS App is available for almost all media boxes, which I'd hope in 2017 everyone would have...
When you have a home phone with Time Warner (actually VOIP) your package is actually cheaper than without it!

These are Collin's numbers Overall +1.4% ESPN +3.0% ESPN2 +27.4% Fox -33% FS1 +21.8% I don't know if the 2016 Fox games include the playoffs, if not those split broadcasts on Fox last year with the NFL lead-ins would have made a big difference. Maybe Alexi's commercials have helped FS1. English only I think.
No, the MLS numbers for each network only include regular season. The bump on Fox were the split games.
Doing the math myself, the FS1 number this week is wrong. According to the same source as of last week (through July 30), the FS1 number through 17 games averaged 190,647. Two FS1 games this week (through August 6), would make the number of games at 19. One FS1 game had 323,000 viewers, and the other had 240,000 viewers. If you add those numbers in there have been 19 games through August 6 on FS1, and the average viewership is a tad over 200,000 viewers, not 188,000 through 18 games.
And I just ran the numbers and the average for the 44 games on English language TV should be just under 277,000 not 261,000. So, someone, somewhere is significantly mistranscribing or having a difficult time with their calculators. I don't know why Univision's family of networks aren't included in these calculations.
Use the comments section to ask Collin directly. https://worldsoccertalk.com/2017/08/11/watched-soccer-games-us-tv-august-1-6-2017/ Collin is on this forum somewhere. He'll probably ban me from posting them here if I'm getting them wrong.
No. You appear to have the same exact numbers that is at Collins' site. Their numbers just don't add up.
In fact, his numbers for last year don't add up either. The English speaking audience average for last year was 285,000+. Once you include Deportes simulcasts the average audience for last year for games broadcast primarily on English language networks would be ~315,000 - 330,000. If you include Univision family of networks, the average (excluding Deportes simulcasts) would be somewhere around 278,000. If you include Spanish language simulcasts, then you would get ~ 297,000 across all networks (excluding streaming audience). Something is amiss at WorldSoccerTalk.
Fc cincy (only televised in southwest Ohio on star 64) had an audience of about 93,000 (60,000 viewers + 33,000 live) not including the fountain square watch party. Still waiting on Dayton market numbers but just for cincy that's good for a 7.4 rating taking 1st or 2nd for their time slot based on initial ratings (and going head to head with Reds vs Cubs). With Dayton (guessing 30,000-40,000) I'm gonna guess around 120,000-130,000 viewers in the Cincinnati-Dayton corridor. Not sure if that's good or not but I feel it's pretty good for a freaking usl side. Not sure what the local or national online streaming numbers are or the tv numbers from New York for that matter
Not sure if joking or not, I'm not sure what's good or bad for soccer games lol but yes, star 64 is extactic, those are big ratings for them. They gambled from day 1 that if they picked up tv rights for fc cincy it would deliver for them. They gambled again on the usoc and were rewarded big time
i was watching the live stream. the had a great atmosphere as always. i was cheering for them and it sucks they couldnt pull it out in the end.
I think it would be great to have EPL, BL and MLS on the same channel. Non-stop footie action on Saturdays from 7:30 am until 1 a.m.
It would be great to have the ability to clone Pele as a 20 year old and put one of him on all 22 teams. Or better yet we could clone every MLS viewer and instantly double TV ratings. Are we just throwing out things that would be great?

It would be more likely to have some overlaps, especially with EPL/BL. I'd rather have an EPL match one one network, a BL match on another, and maybe even an early MLS match on another before the next MLS match starts! My only wish is for La Liga to go to one of the big 3, or at least the marquee match of the weeks. I have no interest in 99% of what's on Bein and don't want to pay just for the few meaningful La Liga matches. Keep it basic bitch!
Hmmm. It was an 11pm kickoff, but still oddly low. LAG has no real star this season, and i'm not sure how big of a name David Villa, despite being the best DP in league history, is to the casual viewer. I'm hoping that was just an error and the was the deportes number.
