fwiw, one of the few watchable games this season. I always opined that Gruden is a shill and a tool. But the 22-yr old MNF producers/writers are much worse. Gruden had this video/graphic as he describes/characterizes Seahawks defense as "Every blade of grass" theory. Gruden, you are supposed to be the football expert. Don't propose it as a theory. If you think it is what it is, then that type of defense is their doctrine or guiding principle.
I certainly hope Jimmy Graham is targeted more often. Those two TD catches were ridiculous. Both were also DPI, but only one was flagged. How can you not call pass interference when the defender is holding one of the arms of the receiver down?
The silver lining: I'd much rather the Pats encounter this kind of challenge/obstacle for the first time now (November) than in January/February.
It never ceases to amaze me how badly professional referees can completely botch calls, even with so many technological tools at their disposal.
Someone didn't see the Tampa-Seattle game, or the Detroit-Minnesota game, or the Washington-Dallas game.
Seattle is a diffrent team on the road. I think today was a little confusion because Thomas is out but you cant have 6 turnovers and expect to be competitive.
