thats only one Europe team, i thought we are suppose to get 2 from Europe... so that cant be right?? am i wrong?
There can be a *maximum* of 2 European teams in one group. Hence the special pot for Serbia & Montenegro. Which means they have to be paired with a non-European top seed, ie, Brazil, argies, or Mexico.
I don't see how it's any more or less likely than being drawn with any of the other seeded teams. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. All we know is that Germany will go into Group A and Brazil in Group F.
'dooodoool' on German TV ARD the show starts at 20:15! also http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/ live from 20:15! I know it's night time in Korea, but I can imagine millions of viewers tuned in a few hours from now...
YES! cant wait starts at 11:30 for us Easterns in USA i had a snow day today so i can watch the whole thing!
hanul, you lucky bastard. its snowing like hell here too, but i have to take a final in 3 hours. is this thing available on tv ? how long is it gonna last?
I agree; I don't think technically that group is possible. Just that a Holland fan here in bigsoccer was saying that would be his nightmare group (picking who he thought he would least like to face from each group).
watching it live here... Still just pre-draw stuff atm. Heidi Klum in a revealing blue. some prominent international football officials ogling at her while pretending to be joyous about the upcoming draw. Blatter said &*&#$*$ and finshed with "to make the world a better place" The actual draw to take place in about 30 minutes.
go to cdmatv.com make sure your popblocker is off on the first dropdown menu, pick anything that resembles kbs, mbc. may have to try several to find a link that works. watch. =) (buffering is heavy but not unbearable) oh, it's dubbed in korean.. - _ - ;; but right now it's just showing some football videos so no need to understand korean.. (and you can hear the english in the background, particularly heidi klum's high-pitched voice)
Milla of Cameroon, Cruyff, Coby Jones of US, Pele, Masashi Nakayama, Lothar Matthaus, Lucas Radebe (South Africa) are helping out the draw. A - Germany B - England C - Argentina D - Mexico E - Italy F - Brazil G - France H - Spain
