Speaking of which. I teach Extended School Year (summer school) every year and always see the same female aide sporting an Argentina jersey or Spain jersey. On Thursday she wore the Argentinian jersey. So Yesterday I decided to wear my Chivas jersey. Her coworker came up to me and said that her "friend had an issue with my jersey." I laugh and asked her friend why? The Argentinian jersey wearing aide straight up said "le voy al Atlas" I laugh and said "hey I have a background in counseling if you want help." She forced a smile and the other Mexican aide started laughing. I then asked if she was the one wearing the argentinian jersey the other day. she said "yeah its the world cup." I laughed and said, "por eso atlas esta como esta." the Mexican lady that was her friend couldn't stop laughing. I don't think the Argentinian jersey aide likes me very much.
