I think they will try to cap him before he turns 18 regardless of what league he's playing in... I don't think they want to make the same mistake twice...
He's been getting called by the sub-17 teams if Centauro's reports can be trusted, sonat least it seems FMF is doing it's part.
What are you going to do though? It's not like Mexico is going to cap him just so the nads can't get him. He would still need to come somewhat close to earning a spot to be capped for Mexico.
Let's see if he accepts. From what I've seen, FMF has been keeping tabs on him which it was something the nads didn't do with Jonathan.
Ronaldo going into semi-retirement I see. Good for the brand. He can look decent in a less competitive league for longer.— CheshireBee (@cheshiregooner) July 10, 2018
got burned in the 1st reply. "Another Reminder That Luxembourg Drew This France Team IN France During World Cup Qualification."

this Green thing is either trolling or delusional to the max. Julian Green has scored on both of these teams! #USMNT #FRAvBEL #FRA #BEL #WorldCup— Brooke Tunstall (@YesThatBrooke) July 10, 2018 guy is 23 he's never show anything of worth outside of 1 time and people are still high on him. Does anyone still think he's relevant? Also has a 2 year contract in 2BL, if he honors it will already be 25. And nevermind that his goal vs France was because of defensive blunder rather than anything to do with him.
What's holy shit about it mate? The guy is basically describing a variant of futsal and street soccer. USSF indirectly agrees. Their coaching courses more and more require coaches to find a way to have the players discover the answers on their own. I think they brought in a company to evaluate the whole system and give recommendations. One of them was in coaching development and the way the game is taught here. I see it as a way to fuse the benefits of street soccer while still correcting techinque and general gameplay. Won't know for a few years if the changes are paying off. (I think they will. Its a positive step.)
That’s is NOT why they didn’t qualify That’s the holy shît Excuses that didn’t exist several years ago, or even at Brazil 2014, can’t just pop up to be used at the quickest convieneance.
I think you miss the author's point. He's telling you their not qualifying was years, if not decades, in the making not a result of Klinnsmann or having any other manager. Which, many would agree is true.
No Vela. Player slumps. DT & assistants nots adapting tactics. The FMF really tried to not fire them. Mexico also suffers in the region because of the refereeing and on field antics by opponents. When those opponents step onto international stage where the refereeing is stricter on the rough-housing, they don't perform as well. I will also maintain my stance that the youth development coaching in the league was shiat and is still shiat. We should be seeing dozens of Gio's, Vela's, Memo's, Rafa's, Hugo's, Cuauh's emerging every cycle.
I don’t disagree with you on that at all but the US not qualifying isn’t as hard to dissect as what some pundits are making out. What bugs me is their hindsight 20/20 “ah ha” moments where they act like fixing XYZ problem makes them the next Croatia. They definitely do have soccer problems, but so do the rest of us. The 0/6 points to kick things off was a huge blow. They have the history of taking Mexico down at home and they couldn’t. They also fell to Costa Rica which actually wasn’t hard to predict, but doing so early was hard on the psyche. Unlike us in 2013 where everything went stale and we just had a plethora of draws, they would win their easy one but drop another, and at the end, their series of unfortunate events transpired - almost exactly like Mexico 4 years prior. After US is KO, Twellman goes on a rant about what the hell is wrong with US soccer, as if he’s been yelling it on TV the whole time. Meanwhile he was floating on air when they kicked the sh^t outta Honduras several months prior. It’s kind of like how when Bradley scores in Azteca, he’s a leader and warrior. Once they’re out, it’s like, “why were we calling up relics like Bradley?”
Lol None of these teams could even beat Wisconsin Now on to the real football pic.twitter.com/sJ4cUlGUkT— Sorry, I'm Texan (@SorryImTexan) July 15, 2018
