What kind of soccer mom bullshit is this? They gonna give every nation that participates a trophy too? Que asco.
Sebastian Giovinco could have helped save Italy's World Cup, TFC coach says. https://t.co/A3KVCx6Tjp pic.twitter.com/De9V4Op3gS— Toronto Sun (@TheTorontoSun) November 15, 2017
LOL. This guy is one salty ass loser... Keep rooting against your own country. Mexico doesn't give 2 flying shits about you. No myth about urine. Mexico fans are notorious animals. Puto chants and all.— Neznargo (@neznargo) November 14, 2017
No Mexican part of this land except when the Mexican National Team (America's true futbol team) is in town. The Mexican national team outdraws and out-preforms the USMNT and many other sports. You're a minnow in your own country. Sad. lol— Alucarda (@Alucarda_666) November 15, 2017

CONCACAF announces new Nations League The entitlement. Losing against Trinidad & Tobago, failing to qualify for the World Cup out of CONCACAF, finishing the Hex with 12 points, MLS can't win the CCL, talent development hinges on foreign countries and dual nationals but... they are too good for their own confederation. Only UEFA and CONMEBOL elite will do. That's where they believe they belong. Delusions... and they suck at geography. But we already knew that.
Meh. I'm in the same boat. This CONCACAF League of Nations thing is a terrible idea and it will only hurt the top CONCACAF teams. Not knowing that Japan and Korea are in Asia (Korea is not even an island and it hasn't been a single country since 1945) is Grade A stupid though.
Mexico is a different case. It's a country with football culture and a system comparable to other football nations, unlike the U.S. and their single-level franchise league. Mexican fans have a legitimate case when it comes to discontent with the CONCACAF nations league, especially when they're sharing a confederation with a bunch of (predominantly) Anglo-Saxon jingoistic blowhards, who once believed to be dominating world football by now after hosting a World Cup over 20 years ago. Mexico and probably Cost Rica have reasons to complain but no the U.S.. All they've got are 22 awful teams in a franchise retirement league, entertaining a country of over 320 million people. U.S. football hasn't developed one single world-class player and they think it's their incontrovertible right to pit themselves against the likes of Germany, Spain and Brazil on a regular basis instead of developing domestic players capable of beating opponents like Trinidad & Tobago first? Nah, U.S. football has their work cut out for them before nads fans can look down on their CONCACAF opponents.
The only way I can see a League of Nations working on this side of the Atlantic is by incorporating CONMEBOL. I legit don’t understand why CONCACAF didn’t try to court them for this. They always want the money and it’s not like they have a bunch of high ranking friendlies in their pockets anymore.
I would love to see the biannual Gold Cup scraped and replaced with an America's Cup including CONCACAF and CONMEBOL teams. Do it during the Euros so there is soccer at night and during the day.
