I put a curse on DC, well sorta.

Back in 99 when DC won their last Cup in Foxboro, I was talkin to some of the Screaming Eagles and how the Revs beat them the last game of that season. Since they were overflowin our section, we got up and left, but I yelled back "This will be the last time DC will ever win".

First Wrongen, then this. Oh, the humanity!

Most people don't believe in curses or hexes. Just to be safe, however, you should put the whammy on the Metros a week from Saturday.

    Thank JMMUSA8 for DC's troubles

    So YOU'RE the reason!@#$%^$@$!@!!!

We knew it had to be supernatural influences. Have pity on us, lift that freaking hex! You've got an owner, you've got a new stadium, you've got a great young scorer and goalie. Let us compete again!

If you don't, I think you may see your worst nightmare, Hudson taking Serna, Chacon and Rooney and turning DC United into a Rev-spoiler next season. Well ... it's really all we'd have unless you lift this darn curse. :(

put the curses on the mutts for the rest of their existence. i want dc to win tonite, giving McB and his Crew a chance to win the division. i know you all would rather have the crew win rather than chicago or the mutts.

    cheers

I've hated the Crew ever since the time, a few years ago, when the Revs were trying to get a playoff spot. We needed the Crew to beat Miami, but Tom Fitzgerald chose to play some guy named Napoleon in goal, and rested a bunch of starters. Miami won, and the Revs didn't make the playoffs.

    Anyone remember this?

    Wrong.

    Here's the current points standings:
    ---Pts--Games left
    Met-35--3
    Col-35--2
    Chi-34--2
    NE-32--2

If NE win the last 2 games they will finish with 38 points. If Chicago and Columbus split their last 2 head-to-head games Col will have 38 and Chi will have 37. If Metros get no more than 2 draws from their last 3 games, they will have 37 at the most.

    Leaving it like this:
    NE-38
    Col-38
    Chi-37
    Met-36 or 37

And given the fact that we have a 2-1-1 record vs Columbus, we would win the division.

OK, the Mutts probably won't melt down vs DC, and the full 6 points are far from given for us, but it isn't impossible.

Better yet, lift the curse on DC and Put one on the Scum for at least the rest of the year.

If DC wins both their games against NY and we beat them and Dallas both DCU and the Revs make the playoffs I think.

How weird and great would that be?
