This is a game against an opponent that is playing pretty well and is roughly equal to TFC in the standings. That said, it is at home and Vanney should have basically his entire squad available. This is the type of game TFC needs to win in order to revert from 2018 form back to playoff-team-form. And I think we will.

It would be nice to not concede so many goals but a nice win nonetheless.

Unfortunately, unless the team finds some defensive help along the way, this sort of heart attack soccer is what we are going to have to expect.

Also, Dear Mr. Vanney: Some statistical information for you:

Jordan Hamilton: 159 minutes, 3 goals
Nick DeLeon: 522 minutes, 1 goal

Maybe you should be reconsidering who is coming in as a sub for who.

Hamilton may be just on a hot streak, but yeah, milk it while it's there.

Can Hamilton play in the midfield?

No, but our formation is quite fluid.

Although Altidore's injury status may now see Hamilton coming in up front anyway.
