likelihood..i guess if Moor or Beit are picked they are FA, so they could just sign back with Toronto if we wanted them? The only one on the list i would hate to see go is Edwards

Edwards probably won't get chosen. He's domestic to us but not to them.

    Well I stand corrected.

Shows that he has potential if they're willing to use an international spot on him. Hope he gets the playing time he couldn't get here.

On one hand, as a TFC fan, bummer.

On the other hand, as an NT fan, maybe now he'll get a full time starting spot.

How was Edwards not home grown?

That's pretty shady to claim a player just to trade him to the arch rival of the team you claimed him from. I hate this team already and they haven't even started playing.

It's business. We'd have done the same if it was in our best interest (and had savvy management at the time).

The Toronto / Montreal rivalry means nothing in the US.

That is, if Saputo isn't putting serious heat on Garde to win now. I'd rate Raitala ahead of Edwards right now. Long term, Edwards could be a promising player but he's not their starter at LB unless he moves to midfield.

He is a midfielder who occasionally played LB. That's where I'd use him if I were Montreal.

Unless, of course, he chooses to announce his retirement rather than put on that ugly blue jersey. Why not go out on top with a championship in your last season? :)

Didn’t TFC trade just about all of the 10 picks they made in the 2006 MLS expansion draft?

Other than Paulo Nagamura playing 4 games for us, all 10 were traded away before we played a single regular season match.
