It may appear that way but I was really stalking De La Torre, Fulham we're playing QPR in a closed door friendly, tried to get a peak a couple of times but was outsmarted by security. Can't confirm or deny if DLT was involved.
Won't play in 1st preseason game: "Emerson Hyndman is still recovering from the stress fracture to his foot he sustained at the end of his loan spell with Rangers and will not play" http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sp...al_rather_than_physical_test_against_Estoril/
He was in Spain for some reason during that friendly. So conflicting information? 886579816891330560 is not a valid tweet id
I think this puts to rest the argument about how to compare our players in Scotland to our players in other leagues.
The photo on left is in their day 7 photos... photo 18 is of him "playing a pass under pressure" https://www.afcb.co.uk/news/first-team/training-images-from-day-seven Registration required. Seen early in day 8 video walking to field and warming up in what looks like short morning session. https://www.afcb.co.uk/videos/pre-season-201718/day-eight-behind-the-scenes-at-estoril-game
Yep... looks fit and continuing to fill out. They start playing keep away, then small sided games and finishing around 5 mins in the day before. He spotted quite a few times. https://www.afcb.co.uk/videos/pre-s...n-prepping-for-estoril-friendly?autoplay=true
"[he] is still recovering from the stress fracture to his foot he sustained at the end of his loan spell with Rangers and will not play in the first preseason friendly" is not the same as "he is still recovering and remains out of training completely".
He wasn't in the squad for today's friendly against QPR, but at least there's this... Brad Smith [hamstring] is "close to returning" according to Eddie Howe while Emerson Hyndman [foot] is “not far away" [Daily Echo] #AFCB— Ben Dinnery (@BenDinnery) July 29, 2017 I've also seen a couple Nottingham Forest fans on twitter hoping to get Emerson on loan. They play in the Championship managed by Mark Warburton.
hmm...wishing.... may this # be as lucky for him as it has been for that other young ya in Germany....
My recollection was that he was completely out last year. This year, he has been training with the team but they have "been limiting load" due to nature of injury. Definitely not ideal, but not as big of a hindrance. There were statements that he was close, so hopefully he could still get in some mins before the season starts in a couple of weeks (maybe not as they only have game tomorrow and then Sunday before the opener)... then if they don't see him in their plans, they could possibly still get him a loan.
