Fulham are relegated to the Championship for next season. This should be good news for Hyndman though. It will likely expedite his shot with the first team.

26' Great finish from Roberts who takes a fine pass from Hyndman before firing an exquisite strike across Beeney. What a game so far! #FFC— Fulham Football Club (@FulhamFC) May 5, 2014
The Twelfth Yank @twelfthyank 2m Hyndman has been involved directly in 2 out of Fulham's 3 goals tonight in the Final. Great game so far from him. #USMNT
Fulham ended up losing but sounds like he played well James Dall @JamesDallESPN 1h Fulham's Patrick Roberts has been excellent, but so have Emerson Hyndman and Soloman Sambou in the centre of midfield,
From watching parts of this game, Hyndman's touches continue to be good (great assist), and his movement off of the ball just impresses me more and more. Even when the play is complex, he's able to think a few seconds ahead and get to where he'll need to be. However, the possible concern about his athleticism did re-surface on Chelsea's third goal, as he needed to apply pressure on the shooter and was sidestepped with ease instead.
My thoughts exactly. Chelsea had some outstanding athletes on their team so his physical weakness was highlighted. There was one play late in the game where a guy practically ran over him and beat him to the ball. Nevertheless I came away impressed. He's really smart and his passes often put people in a position to score or set somebody else up for a chance. He wasn't easily dispossessed either and they seem to trust him to take set pieces. He'll need to work on his fitness but I think he can be a really nice player.

I'm probably very wrong here but Fulham's official twitter acount tweeted this photo yesterday with Hyndman and (what I think) is their first-team HC, Felix Magath. Could Hyndman be training with the first-team this pre-season? Is that a sign of anything in terms of Hyndman getting playing time now that they've been relegated, or am I grasping at straws there...
That's what I was thinking...after the year he had I don't think it'd be unrealistic either. I could be wrong though.
I believe that for most of last year he was starting for their U18 squad, with only sporadic appearances for their U21s. His goal for this season should be to establish himself as a starter with the U21s, and if his first team debut comes.....................that's great. As we know, Fulham has invested a lot in their youth development programs. Emerson isn't the only prospect they have in the midfield pipeline. They have quite a few prospects possibly in the queue before him. I believe they've promoted midfielders like 21 year old Portuguese Mesca, France youth international Ange-Freddy Plumain, Danish youth international Lasse Vigen Christensen, Australian youth international Ryan Williams and others up to the first team. Emerson is younger than all of those guys.
Who has the Championship TV rights here in America? You'd have to imagine Fulham will be on TV a bit.
Last year the Championship was on beIN sports. In other words, nobody saw it................................. I don't know about this upcoming season.
Started for Fulham's first team in a pre-season friendly @fulhamfc: #ffc starting XI v East Fife: Rodàk, Voser, Hutchinson, Burn, R Williams, Parker, Hyndman, Kačaniklić, A Trialist, G Williams, Dembélé
I've heard a lot about this A Trialist guy. Seems like a good prospect, he's been playing pre-season games all over the place, lots of interest. But seriously, good news for Emerson.
