ARD broadcast a match between FSV Luckenwalde and German NT. Luckenwalde took part at the competition "Klub 2006 - Die WM im Verein" (WC 2006 - The WC in the club), made the best presentation and so won a test-match against the German NT. I hope nobody gets injured.
Re: Test match: Germany - Luckenwalde 28 minutes played, already 4-0 for Germany btw: Luckenwalde plays in 5th German league
Re: Test match: Germany - Luckenwalde Schweinsteiger made 5-0 (penalty) after Lahm got fouled. (seems Lahm injured at the arm, let´s see)
Re: Test match: Germany - Luckenwalde Klose 6:0, after a Odonkor cross (first of ten, who reached a teamate).
Lahm is being taken to a hospital nearby. Except Lehmann, Metzelder, Ballack and Kehl everyone is/has been playing. Beckmann displayed his stunning lack of knowledge again, claiming there was no backup for the left fullback position. Jansen played the full first half
Can´t be nominated, only players from the standby squad can. Goalkeeper coach (Klinsi, Löw and Bierhoff are in the hospital) said, he is confident, that Lahm didn´t break his arm. edit: To the [R] thing: Oh, yes, i always forget it, thanks a lot, TOLH.

Nothing new from the hospital, the national team travel to Sardinia for a training camp this evening (so right now), it´s planed, that he travels tomorow. Tomorow the DFB will also make public, what injury Lahm has and how hard it is. btw: The test match wasn´t Klinsmanns idea, the WC organisation committee planned it.

Not sure how true this is though. Hope Lahm is OK, I was hoping to see him again after his impressive Euro 2004.
Propably you are right. But why did Klisi nominate a standy-squad then? In any case Lahm has a muscle injury and will be operated today, so he miss the regeneration camp in Sardinia, but it´s planned, that he can join the NT at the next training camp in Geneve.
Out, 60 minutes played. Germany 7-0. But what about Lahm
Lahm will be operated ....
Lahn will be operated, but will be fit to practise in 7 days. FIFA allows any player to substitute a injured player until 24 hrs before the first game of a team. The reason for nominating stand-by-players is, that players normally are in holiday now. Stand-by-players take care of being available at any time and stay in training.
every english teacher would have to throw up when reading this. How about this: Lahm will undergo surgery
