    Fortunately..

In the first half he missed a pretty easy goal. If he's shown one thing at River so far, it's that he knows how to miss easy opportunities.

Not trying to talk shit, I think he's a great player.. but I don't know why he is so cursed when it comes to finishing, at least since he's arrived in River.

You are preaching to the choir here.
I know he misses way too many chances. Which is one of the many reasons why I believe he should not start for Colombia anymore.

Well when it comes to minutes played it is a different story. He has played a lot of minutes so of course he is going to have more goals than guys who barely play minutes you mention.

Also, I think there's a reason he is usually on the bench in road matches and neutral site games. He is just not as good in those venues as he is in Barranquilla. That is another reason why I don't believe he will be starting in Brazil.

    repito memoria selectiva

I am just calling it as I see it. Teo scores more goals. But the major reasons are the plain and simple facts he plays more minutes and he plays very well in Barranqilla.

Sure, Jackson has eaten a lot of goals but he is usually put in the game in different situations and scenarios that are not the same as getting into rhythm at home as a starter.

The issue here is not only the misses. That is just one factor I mentioned. I mentioned another factor about him not being trusted on the road and on neutral sites.
Look, I appreciate Teo and the good things he has done but you know he is not a certain Starter come Brazil time. That is the issue at hand.

Different dynamics go into friendlies and final match days and road matches etc.

But whatever, if you think he should start in Brazil more power to you. We shall see if he does. I just don't think he should.

I don't believe what he did two years ago on the road is going to play a factor in 2014.
I see Pekerman not trusting him much on the road in 2013 and 2014. And when he does get his chance he really looks lost on the field.

As I alluded to if you think he is going to start the World Cup then good for you. I just don't see it happening.

Of course Teo will be in the World Cup.
As for starting? I don't think he will start. In fact there's really only two sure starters I see right now: James and Ospina.
Every other position is pretty much a toss up.

You bring up matches that are less relevant to the 2014 dates I am focusing upon. And the Bolivia match was under different manger... ... so it has less impact on Pekerman's decision. He was probably on Miami at the time not even thinking about Colombia.

2013 on the road and 2014 on the road he did not so anything on the road or in neutral sites.
    Your numbers are wrong.

nope. Teo is a Pekerman starter. So is Yepes. So is Zuniga.

Teo had to have a good season with RP. He has. Not my top choice to start but I would be SHOCKED to not see him start.

Maybe I need glasses but Teo has not started a lot lately for Colombia outside of Barranquilla.
Zuniga has not played since like August.
Yepes is close to being a certain starter ( I will give you that), but even he I am not 100% sure about as I am for Ospina and James.

And there are reasons he is not trusted on the road. You are only strengthening my argument.

Well when Teo is not starter in Brazil then my selective memory will be beneficial for you to learn from.

    It is that simple.
There are many factors and reasons that go along with it... ... but it is simple. I don't believe Teo is the best player to start. You are entitled to your opinion but I am also entitled to mine.

Keep dreaming... Teo is one of Pekerman's favorite. Your repetitive anti-teo propaganda is just annoying as Dusty constant display of his love affair with Teo but at least Dusty is humorous about his feelings. I think we all get the point you dislike him and just as we all get Dusty has a man crush.

Is it really a dream to think Teo won't start in Brazil? Like really that much of a stretch of the imagination? To compare me to Dusty thinking he is the best on the planet? Now that is crazy talk.
    Man oh man.
