Poch will be gone either this coming season or next. As much as they needed the CL win to galvanise the team and be a winning team, LFC did it and we are in an amazing place today and for the future.
Shows that the allure of Liverpool never disappeared even when we weren't at our best - it's a destination job. The right manager (who wins of course) can evoke a fanbase like no other.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-bundesliga-block-european-super-league-plans simple answer here - if you make the last 8, you don't have to play a qualifying round. Simple.
imagine being united and finishing 6th and your big summer signing is a 12 mil kid from a relegated team
Just stumbled across this article in the New Yorker this afternoon: How Football Leaks Is Exposing Corruption in European Soccer By Sam Knight May 27, 2019 A lot of this was new information to me. I wasn't really following the articles being published by Der Speigel, much less the info/documents being exposed by Football Leaks.
I think it’s funny how Chelsea are searching for a new manager yet again and everyone acts like it is normal.
It's like a new guy every 15 months on average for the past decade and a half, or something. Staggering. edit: that was a ballpark, but I just did the math minus guys that were there in a true interim capacity and it's exactly right. Since 2004, they average a new manager every 15 months. That includes 2 Hiddink stints & Avram Grant, but those have to count for me.
and it's now official - Sarri to Juve https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48633265 looks like Fat Frank will roll up to the Bridge next. at least he's had some level of success as a manager unlike OGS, and Roman may not use him like a doormat (right away, anyhow) coz of his club history. appointing ex-players to manage Prem clubs seems to be a thing these days.
King Kenny, Keegan ... Don't know where I've been living but I'd never heard of Sarri, player or manager before the Chavs snapped him up. All I saw was this sorry homeless looking guy parked on the sideline with an unlit butt in his mouth. Wasn't much of an inspiration to look at.
such charming people ..... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...st-racist-abuse-raheem-sterling-a8962851.html Manchester United fans arrested for racism more than any other club in England in last four years
