KDB really has been the epitome of City as a whole this season. When they were flying to start, he was supreme. Just hasn't been anywhere near the same since he got hurt.
City are still in this one technically, but Pep will have to be worried that they have hardly troubled Monaco's backline and keeper at all in the first half.
City don't even look like they know what's going on out there. Completely dominated. If Both teams come out the same way..it will probably end 5-0.
It sounds so redundant but Fabinho who has been superb so far, is really a no brainer target as far as I'm concerned. Dude is so complete, in kind of an understated way. Nothing flashy at all about his game, but just so efficient...
Fabinho's name has been dropped for some time but I'm just now focusing on him as I watch. He's def got that something about it.
He's been mentioned for a while as a RB option. He's really changed positions this season completely seemelessly and justifiably so, because he is so good on the ball, but strong enough defensively as well. A great and smart move by Jardim and he would a great compliment to Herrera and Pogs in a mid 3 and I imagine could work very well in a mid 2 as well.
Leno has been saving Leverkusen's ass all match. This KDB Silva midfield is a poor utilization of KDB.
Monaco really could use that extra 3rd goal cushion. City have finally realized they need to start playing apparently...
Why do you guys think in purely historical terms? Over the past five or so years, Man City has had results, both in Europe and in the PL, that are indicative of a top ten club in Europe. They also have the financial muscle of a top ten club in Europe. What is difficult about this?
Agreed. Hopefully they get one on the break as City become increasingly desperate. Monaco are playing a dangerous game.
There you go. Such poor defending. Monaco completely switched off after the shot. Sane just strolled in.
