For sure. Son will have to step up. Janssen just hasn't been reliable enough this year. Didn't think they'd catch Chelsea but 2nd place could be in trouble at this point.
Boro Primorac, whose been Wenger's first team coach for almost 20 years, is apparently lined up to take over a Turkish club at the end of this season. Really think Wenger is done.
If you watched the game or watched the damn clip you would know. Against Athletico and throughout the whole season he has been playing an advanced left side playmaker. At United he is the versatile dude where you would have him play in a midfield three with Pogba, right hand side like Mata or left winger with Shaw overlapping and finally in the hole as a 10, but he can work because he has brains, he knows how to connect with players, the one twos and having him at Granada he knows he has to defend a lot of the time. His overall game improved up a notch.
Says we did a similar thing with moyes![emoji51] Arsenal fans raise over £2,000 as they plan to ramp up Arsene Wenger protests by flying plane over Emirates http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...fans-raise-2-000-plan-Wenger-plane-stunt.html
I'm agreeing with you numnuts. I said he could play in a midfield 3 and could play a modified version of the Herrera role and a few people strongly disagreed.
Lukaku rejects new 100k a week contract from Everton and says he won't resign there. Sold in the summer then.
Hope he doesn't get too much stick from the Everton faithful. Surely he's given them as much as he can. Will be interesting to see where all of the strikers around the world end up once all the dust settles this Summer.
If I were in Atleti's shoes, I'd make a move for him. Lukaku could potentially dominate in Spain. Plus, he'd get plenty of quality pieces around him (should they manage to keep most of them) that would provide plenty of service. Torres also is coming close to the end and he'd a natural replacement for him. Only question is whether they'd be willing to shell out the huge fee he is sure to command.
No way. He'd be too expensive for them. They wouldn't want to spend almost all of their Griezmann money (if he leaves) on Lukaku.
Atleti would probably not want to spend that kind of money. Guess I really was thinking out loud as to where Lukaku in my estimation should go. He has proven he can score in the Prem, but he's not dominating the way he should IMO. In Spain, provided he'd get good service, he could be scary. From that standpoint, Atleti might have been a sound choice for him (bc Barca or Real would never go for him). Would not be excited about us going for him tbh (not wen there are other options on the table at this stage). He won't go to Chelsea unless Costa leaves. City would be a surprise. I guess there's always Arsenal but that sounds like a stretch. Would be interesting to see where he lands for sure...
There is ligament damage apparently, so will be a while (was 6 games or so last year). The injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward against Sunderland in Sept last year, however it is not considered to be as severe. pic.twitter.com/WyRU3JcON7— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 14, 2017
And here I thought he was cup tied somehow... Kind of odd that Sampaoli didn't start him, given how well he's done since joining them.
Nasir is an idiot, something that is well known, but I really can't stand Vardy either. The guy just loves to run his mouth and thinks he's some kind of tough guy... Hated him since day one and that 5-3 loss a couple of seasons ago.
Well done Leicester. Deserved it on this game. Sevilla only have themselves to blame 2 missed penalties and played quite poorly tonight.
Sevilla bottled that massively over 2 legs. They are a much better team I think, but just executed so poorly.
