Bouhafsi is running with the story as well, suggesting that some deal has already been agreed upon and should be finalized tomorrow. That would be very interesting, if it were to come to pass.

Loan for the season, with a buy option of €70mil. Was seen boarding a plane presumably headed for Paris. Wonder if it means Cavani (who is injured at the moment) could be shipped off today.

 

ESPN is saying it's almost a done deal.

 

It's a pretty big opportunity for him after how things fell apart at Inter. Some interesting possibilities for PSG upfront, with Icardi, Mbappe, Neymar and ADM alone.
If he can forge a good understanding with his teammates, he can kill it in Ligue Un. Question is whether he, along with the other new arrivals can make a difference when it comes to Europe and the CL.

 

Cavan is the oldest member of their big 3 so possibly. They could sell him to a side in Spain, France or Italy that needs a fox in the box type striker with ease.

 

Choupo-Moting also has stepped up big time for PSG, having scored already 3 goals so far, so he's looking like a solid backup option as well. Cavani is probably still better when fit, but he's 32 and very likely on a pretty big salary they could ditch by letting him go.
He'll have plenty of options that much is certain.

I'd take Icardi over Cavani on the field all day. The problem is hes a whipped little bitch that lets his wife do his talking.

 

RBL with another smart move: they've got Patrik Schick on loan from Roma for the season, with an option to buy (for just €28-29mil).
He failed to impress with Roma, but he's talented and it won't be surprising to see him get closer to his potential in the Bundesliga. Plus, RBL is potentially laying the groundwork for a potential option to replace Werner next summer.

 

Either would improve our options by alot.

Icardi to PSG is official and while he's somewhat of a risk, it could be one that pays off for them (and 65mil to sign him permanently could be a great deal also).
And Cavani hasn't moved, which was surprising at first, but looking deeper into it, he's a risk for any respectable club. He's 32, plus he's a major injury risk at this stage of his career. He's suffered 3 pretty significant injuries in the last year: he could close to done physically.
Thought that maybe United could monitor the situation for a possible January move, but I'd pass frankly. Wouldn't be completely surprised if he was MLS bound (or to some other lower tier league for big money).

 

Cavani is rumored to have an agreement to join Inter Miami next season.

 

I love how PSG harped earlier in the summer about their personality and culture problem at the club. And there fix...bring in Icardi. Brilliant.

From that perspective alone, it will be interesting to see how turn out with Neymar having failed to secure a return to Barca this summer. But regardless, I believe it's fair to say that Neymar has something to prove. And if he (and Icardi) manage to stay on their best behavior (big if admittedly), the combination of those 2, along with Mbappe, could be an intriguing one.
The thought of Neymar and Icardi joining forces is a pretty funny though, if you allow your mind to run with what could between or with those 2...
