Some one give me a low down on Renato Sanches, i dont know enough about him. I also dont feel great about our midfield this year sans Vidal.

I will say that my Portuguese friend told me they haven't had a bigger talent since Ronaldo and he said this before the Euros

we need kroos and our midfield will be great again.

early signs point to Thiago playing DLP with a runner (or two) beside him. Renato is an all action CM with pretty solid dribbling and great strength and workrate. Poor passing, which should improve over time.

Vidal, Thiago, Kimmich, Alonso, Renato is a very good midfield, but probably not elite unless Kimmich/Thiago/Renato break out.

Yes, that's undisputed. He's the only teenager to win the European Championship in history. The youngest previous player was 20 years old, Pietro Anastasi, from Italy's 1968 squad. He also did it as a starter, and not a squad player. Youngest to ever play in a Euro final and youngest player to score in Euro knockout stage history.

I'd think its safe to say there are very few *candidates in football history that could directly compare to such a CV, at his age. Hopefully he continues to progress consistently.

    * And by very few, the only immediate challenge that comes to mind is Pele

He's pretty much responsible for two knockout games that we've won at the euros. He'll show up in big games. No nerves at all for the kid.

He's definitely a beast mode type of player at his age already. I would love it if he's starting now and grow into a WPOF type talent

Let's take Vidal out of the picture.

    Can Kimmich, sanches, Thiago work?

We have enough central midfielders, the problem is that we dont have a number 10.......

Basically every single club out there is jealous af that we signed him up. He turned down Manure to play for us so hes already a fan fav in my eyes :)

Also people need to get over their dreams of Kroos coming back, i highly doubt he will and i said in the past i don't want anyone playing for us who thinks Real is better than Bayern.

    :p

why would you take vidal out of the picture? If he is injured, then we may struggle in the middle a bit.

    We don't play with a 10.

why? When Carletto was appointed at Madrid, he god rid of the best 10 in the world at the time (Ozil) and kept the replacement 10 (Isco) on the bench, giving him sub minutes.

Point being that tactics are always dependent on the personnel available. With an unbenchable Muller, there is no point in targeting a quality 10 because he'd only get to play if Muller was injured. I suspect well definitely play a 4-3-3 if one of Muller/Lewy sits. And if we are that desperate for a 10, Thiago can play there as an 8/10 hybrid.

The Kaka profile doesn't fit current era bayern.
