After Hecking announcement: How Wood changed http://bit.ly/2JAWeLz at HSV

    Translated from Germanby Microsoft

"I'm more of the guy who doesn't talk that much," Bobby Wood says - and then did it. So talk. And now he wants to do what he likes to do: score goals. So is there still a happy ending? #HSV

"Full hut" as HSV returns from one of the loveliest little ski towns in Austria - at least that you can reach from Munich in a reasonable drive, but I digress - to Hamburg for "at home" training "Bitter: the ice cream truck just left!"

someone whose colloquial German is better than mine can say, but this sounds like someone claiming Wood and pals got growled at in training today (dunno if it's true or even serious, but my
    German is pretty lame.)

"Hey you clown-noses, still training with us?" Used in a silly way for Wood, Wintzheimer and Moritz...

Not serious heckling, unless Pappnasen is not exactly what they said. From the tone of the guy posting it, I don't think it was bad.

Looks like he went out at the half. 4-1 now v Oberligisten SV Rugenbergen.

hope he starts scoring v. the better teams soon.

Jairo's first was a PK, but despite the 3-1 a few mentions were that Hamburg were not great in the 1st half.

Another take on this suggested "the unity is over..." The things folks can tell from a photo.

Of course the coach wants a one-on-one with their most expensive player after watching him do nicely in pre-season. They're going to depend greatly on him to get back to the BuLi, he has to check the mentality is there.

    Gregg Beerholder?

    Yeah.

He was once with that B3 Munich club, ja?

    Yeah.

Gregg Beerholder... Gregg Beerholder... And that's why you turned down the Gold Cup?

Uh... no... I didn't get called up.

Ah... Gregg Beerholder... From the WC game? The handball? Ja?

    Yeah.

Ah... hmmmmm... Ok, we will have a good season, Ja. Score many goals. Gut.

In that context it wasn't unity with these connotations but unit as in a training session that had ended.

unused bench player in a 1-1 draw to Darmstadt.

Darmstadt basically parked the bus towards the last 30 min.

the young Wintzheimer who was subbed in instead of Wood drew the PK which Hunt scored to tie the game.
