Fair point. He didnt get the chance he got at Vitesse or NYRB. He has shown he can raise his game when given the chance. He isnt a kid in lower level situations anymore. He is going to have to get up to speed fast in his next move.

Fulham have struggled playing team defense. That’s not something you can peg on one or two players. People that like to confirm their own bias will absolutely do that.

I think the EPL is probably a step too high to get consistency out of Ream, but that isn’t a bad thing necessarily. There are a lot of leagues he would play at and still qualify him for the MNT.

As far as Miazga, he looks like Ream 2.0 but fortunately has time on his side.

Hull score 2 late-ish to go up 2-1. No word if MM or EL involved.

I wonder Miazga will be kept in the stable at Chelsea next year for potential injury issues with the transfer ban. Will be an interesting summer for him regardless.

Thats a very good point. You cannot discount that possibility. Chelsea very well could do that given their upcoming circumstances.

I'd like to see him continue his loan adventures: this time in Italy.

And for anyone looking for a little schadenfreude Nantes is 0-1-3 in their last 4 league, with three reds in 4 games (including their loss to PSG in the cup semis.) and facing 3rd place Lyon on Friday. They are safe from relegation but could end up just out. Despite the obvious psychological and personnel challenges it's impossible to argue getting rid of MM created any kind of upgrade.

Reading is doing Leeds and Sheffield a solid by beating, so far, the runaway leaders Norwich in Carrow Road (where they have been virtually invincible) 0-1.

Saw this score at 1-0 in the 84th, thought, "when will Reading blow this?" Two minutes later is the answer.

Are people allergic to posting final scores in YA?

Norwich 2 - Reading 2, with Reading scoring in the 97th minute after falling behind 2-1

since we're here - Reading now in 20th, 2 points clear of relegation (and much better goal differential than the bottom 3), tied on points with 21st place Wigan (same GD) and 19th place Millwall (who have a game in hand), 1 point behind Wigan, and 4 behind QPR and Birmingham City.

They tied it at the end, which means they're two points above the red line with Millwall and Wigan.

PS: Millwall has a game in hand, but it's at Sheffield, so that's likely another loss for 'em.
