Remind me in my next life to double up on HGH. I don't even want to be Messi, I just want to become Spiderman.
He needs a few more years of experience. He hasn't even really been the man Mallorca's midfield has been lacking. All this season has showed so far is that he's talented but still in transition from a youth/lower level player.
Nope. He's ready. He hasn't been "the man Mallorca's mf has been lacking" just because his mates and especially that idiot Sastre were constantly refuses to combined with him regularly. Today he shows what he's capable of, if his mates trust him more. But too bad, it's certainly difficult for anyone to play for a team without a proper passer who can give stability and dictating tempo from the deep, like Mallorca. Just ask Messi what it's like to play for Argentina without Banega at their MF.

Any age at the top level can be whistled. If you’re man enough deposit millions into your bank account then you’re man enough to have a few whistles too.
Kubo is whistled because he was a Barca youth player they lost after the transfer ban/U18 player fiasco, after which he chose joining Real Madrid instead of Barca when he was on the market again. If the roles would have been switched, the player would be getting boohed at the Bernabeu as well.
There are kids working as slaves even today. I imagine Takefusa can survive being whistled at Camp Nou.
I always thought "whistling" from the rival fans could be a form of recognition. Seriously, he probably expected it.... if he did not get them, it probably meant that no one gave a shit about him.
I’m watching Six Dreams on Amazon right now, it follows four La Liga clubs during the 2017/18 season as well as Inaki Williams and Saul on their journeys during that year. One of the clubs is Eibar which is run by Amiai, one thing that has stood out for me is the fact that due to Inui playing for Eibar, they have the third most commercial traffic from the Japanese market and is something which was important to the club at the time. Makes me think what an opportunity it is for a La Liga club to loan Kubo and make use of his commercial value in Japan, which I imagine is higher than Inui’s. And of course for us as well in the long term. It’s a great show btw, highly recommend.
Of course, but he's talking in minutes while Inui is talking in years.Inui built a solid fanbase playing in Germany, it's not like Eibar plucked him out of the J-League like we did with Kubo, there was a lot of work already done.

LaLiga manager in Japan, Ivan Codina: "The impact has been very great. In the last 3 years, LaLiga had grown in the Japanese market and in the latter, with the Kubo effect, we have even managed to move to the EPL (level). This gives you an idea of the impact he really has." pic.twitter.com/ozrXOSl9rI— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) June 13, 2020 Mallorca assistant coach Dani Pendin: "Kubo is a much better player than when he arrived. We worked a lot with him and also is very intelligent. He is a boy of 19 years, but has a head like 30. He's very polite, respectful and pays a lot of attention every time the coach speaks." pic.twitter.com/4VPxnQ6zLo— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) June 13, 2020 Mallorca assistant coach Dani Pendin: "As a left-hander Kubo has the privilege and has a gift that God gave him, that quality he has to play and to control. He also has a lot of speed, whether in short or long, and a very good strike." pic.twitter.com/jtZwMN2swW— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) June 13, 2020
That was (and is) my hope. But seeing him on the right today, he just looked so natural. So quick and decisive on the dribble, looks to have a shot too. Fantastic prospect and I'm super happy he's with the good guys. Worst case we are in for a nice transfer windfall. Hope he can land at a real club next season
