Does anyone know what's going on with Kamani Hill? Can't get information anywhere about what he's doing, last I heard he was trying to cancel his contract with Vitória Guimarães (Portugal).
This is the latest news we've had about him in this forum, so it looks like you are at least as up to date as we are. Sorry not to have anything else for you.
John Daniele and Omar Persad who were on La Estrella in Spanish Tercera Group 14, have switched to the neighboring Diter Zafra of the same Spanish Tercera Group 14 (Extremadura), and are currently mid-table after 8 matches.
Hey, there is a US American on trial at Werder Bremen. He did practise with the 2nd team and is now with the first team, but I dont have any information about who exactly this kid is. Known: US American, under 23, everybody calls him "Frankie", here is a picture (redshirted kid): http://media1.weser-kurier.de/media/1844/69383968943004/show_egp2fjqa_15.jpg
Rongen apparently has a list 400 potential YA U20s. Our list seems a bit short ... Dave you have some work to do. http://www.tribune.ie/article/2010/nov/14/trans-america-dave-hannigan-ireland-races-to-find-/
From that article: Having first gained international recognition with the United States' under-17s and under-20s, the most prized young defender in Europe eventually switched allegiance to Serbia, the country of his birth, following a row with an American youths' coach. "I based my decision on my heritage, origin and family," said Subotic But seriously, folks... I've read that comment. I suppose it's possible that there are 400 YNT-eligible players in various foreign countries, especially if you factor Mexico in. My guess is that a lot of these are kids with DOD schools or American schools overseas, and that many of them are not with local clubs. But I could be wrong.
So how young is too young? I've got a 7 year old son playing in the Escuela de Futbol with Montañeros C.F. here in La Coruña. Can we put him on the list?? Currently playing forward and midfield. Like a lot of americans he seems to keep his scoring to practices and freezes up in front of goal But I'm blaming that on anti-american bias I'm only joking of course. Yet on behalf of all of us I will harbor the hopes that he somehow turns into the US' very own Xavi or Iniesta
Pretty sure this is actually Bob Bradley's fault. I mean, look what he did to another young American forward playing in Spain!
I did not see this guy on the forum search: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caio_Canedo_Corrêa Could he have citizenship, a green card, or his parents? In the interests of full disclosure, signed him on Football Manager 2011 and he had American citizenship as well as Brazilian
He has been discussed quite a bit in the YNT forum. Rongen is reportedly pursuing the guy, even though he is too old for the U20s by a few months.
Just browsing through FMF rosters: Luis Alberto Peinado Diaz 1992 Indios (Born in El Paso) Oscar Jose Lopez Lopez 1992 Tigres (Born in LA) Hector Daniel Cornelio Frias 1996 Tijuana (Born in LA) Ruben Gonzalez Fernandez 1997 Tijuana (Born in San Diego) Juan Estaban Epinosa Tapia 1996 Chivas (Born in Garden Grove, CA)
Hey dave any ideas on the location of Jose Gonzalez? The 1989 who was at Atlante for a little bit. Played for our U-18's and U-20's a bit.
