What are his chances on starting? Hopefully its good considering Augsburgs defense is utter shite. A lot of managers are hesitant in starting foreign defenders.
Augsburg win 1-0 against Nurnberg away. Much improved defense compared to last season (not so much on offense).
It's looking very likely. I listened to his agent (who also happens to be KJC and Ryu Seungwoo's agent) interview on a podcast and he pretty much confirmed that it was about to happen.
Park Jung-Bin terminated contract with both Fuurth and Wolfsburg, and he signs with Karlsruher SC until June 2016. http://www.greuther-fuerth.de/aktuell/aktuelle-news/news-detail/article/kleeblatt-loest-vertrag-mit-park-auf.html
Um, whats the diff at Furth and Karlsruher? In BL2 either way. Also HSV's new sporting director came out of Karlsruhe so what they're doing was well thought of.
oh i dont care about the club per se. he just couldve taken part in the WC had his club Furth/Wolfsburg released him.
Who is the next most likely player to move to Europe from K-league? Who are the notable young players with potential? I think the chances are slim that a club in a top league is going to take a "finished product" from K-league like KSW.
Our national team members get the most attention from European scouts. So Yun Il Rok/ Lee Seung Gi/ Lee Myung Joo probably. Ha would do well in Europe but he's 28 and was a late bloomer so probably falls under the finished product category. He did get an offer from Dynamo Zagreb last year but he decided to stay. Also Kim Shin Wook is still 25 and this is like his 4th year playing as a striker.
Kim Shin-wook wont be going anywhere unless getting rid of the military duty. That was the reason why he couldnt move this transfer period despite having noticeable interests from many Euro clubs. Lee Myung-joo has 1 year or so left in his contract and his club is willingly to let him go whenever a club he likes comes in. He has already attracted few eyes from Europe, especially when Pohang were in Europe earlier this year going into 깡패 mode against some of the European teams during the offseason. One of the Turkey scouts said "Who is that guy?!" I'd say the one that should really try out for Europe is Park Jong-woo.
i agree YLR, LSG and LMJ. But i also have hopes for KJS, KYK, and Lim Sang Hyub. But the one person who i like to go to europe but may not but has a chance is. Kim Seung Gyu
We need more cbs in europe to make the position more attractive to the youth system. It's not euro-bias to want cbs in europe if that's where the competition is playing. Maybe this is ott but I think a successful season for HJH at Augsburg would have more significance and impact for the KNT's future than any other KPA.
LSG and Im Sanghyup are both 25. It might be harder for them to move to Europe. anyone know when KYK's contract at Guangzhou runs out?
Those 25 yr olds will get offers from 2nd tier European leagues at best. All our best KPAs went to Europe at 24 and under.
yeah not really. both were born in a bad year for youth national team cycles and ISH for a while was buried deep on the Jeonbuk roster. more unfortunate than those already in europe is more accurate.
