Still surprising Watford is the only club that knows anything about Kim MJ.

Around 2:50 mark, Watford is presented as one of more forward thinking clubs.

    Do you honestly think so?

If MJ Kim actually chose China over Waford, He is brain-dead. He only has himself to blame.

It would be an odd move though. Fortuna has just signed Kastenmeier and promoted Theissen from the reserves + is about to sign Zack Steffen on loan from Man City. That would leave Fortuna with 6 goalkeepers in the first team, and they are about to sign Cho? o_Oo_O

is it normal for a team to carry that many in the first team?

This is the same rag that claimed he was very close to moving to Mainz. He will be playing in Korea or Japan.

article w/ some credibility & quotes from someone who works for Daegu FC

    https://sports.v.daum.net/v/20190708122019204

if it happens, better hope Zack Steffen doesn't join Dusseldorf.. granted it is widely reported he will join them on loan. Rensing, last yrs #1 is still around after extending his contract for 1 more yr...

if the plan is to adjust in his 1st yr & compete in his 2nd season to be #1.. sort of makes sense (but that could be in BL or BL2). at the same time, if he just rots like Gonda at Portimonese.... :coffee:

@takeuchi, what do you think this means for CHW? Perhaps a move to J1? Do you think his passing is good enough for J1??

who knows? he can do whatever he wishes i guess. if he is desperate, doubt anyone will ridicule his decision to join Dusseldorf since Korean public (and this forum) seems desperate just to see Korean GK in Europe. Daegu FC pres insistence on Germany or bust is odd though. Jo HW could also look at leagues in Belgium, Switzerland or Austria too.... and probably much better place to start his EU career.

will it hurt his chance with NT though? Kim SG needs a new club too.. so, might not damage him early on.. not that he is #1 GK for Korea tbf.

Why go to J league, just stay in Korea if thats the case. It its one that earns a chance in Europe its Cho, would not surprise me if this was all bullshite from the start anyway.

his current CV is weak even compared to Kim SG after 2014 WC. pretty much living off of his "Germany" performance in 2018 atm.

anyways, one club still in need of a GK is FC Augsburg. lost out on Kobel & the guy they want from RB Leipzing is supposedly hesitant to join them based on latest Kicker report a week or so ago.

CHW didn't start with Daegu, does it mean he's going to leave? (or slightly injured?)
Btw, it seems his substitute is a headless chicken (5:00 and 8:18)
