It is possible that he is being practical. It appears he is not very bright even for a footballer and learning English may be beyond his abilities. Maybe he is better at Chinese, or he thinks he is.
honestly think Jeonbuk chief is full of BS atm. how he is so chatty atm, giving very different takes on the whole situation.. not to mention, almost a "live" response makes no sense to me. https://sports.v.daum.net/v/20190120194828713 https://sports.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=382&aid=0000704037 18th - receives phone call through a back channel Watford hired to inquire about Kim MJ (two different take & response by Jeonbuk chief on this issue). supposedly he contacted Kim MJ on the inquiry afterwards ... 19th - story of the inquiry, with some random BS numbers on transfer fee & his wage is published (i seriously question the person who leaked this). Jeonbuk chief confirms the "interest". 20th - so called "letter" arrives.. well, according to Jeonbuk it arrived on the 19th but he didn't know til 20th?? the ********... at the same time, he states Kim MJ decided to join Beijing Guoan?? all these leaks and Jeonbuk chief being so chatty, including Kim MJs suppose response is all but helpful to Jeonbuk. i also don't believe it took Kim MJ one day or so to decide. if personal terms were to be negotiated, i would think it would be through Kim MJs agent.. not through Jeonbuk. i would also think Kim MJ would need to discuss with family on the situation. i simply cannot believe Kim MJ would simply reject.. if watford even contacted his agent..so quickly nor can I believe he wouldn't listen to offer from watford. negotiating personal terms is rather long process.... also, i really don't get Jeonbuk chief being so Fing chatty about Kim MJs situation while he is at the Asian Cup.
KMJ has NOT signed a contract w Beijing.
So can the fcking talkative Jeonbuk chief and the media chill? Why give KMJ such a huge distraction during an important tournament???
boss said his party has agreed to a deal with beijing. im inclined to believe the boss. same boss who confirmed watfords interest
The chief never said it was a done deal either, just that KMJ has decided on Beijing for now. People think that this might be 언플 in order to increase Watford's bid.
how could that raise watfords offer all theyd have to do is ask kim minjaes agent if theyve signed with beijing. if there is anyone negotiating here itd be the agent trying to raise the salary. but i doubt it
Uncertainty over eligibility for work permit is a big factor in Kim Min-jae's reluctance to pull out of the agreement with Beijing Guoan to hold talks with Watford. Kim doesn't want to risk leaving $16 million on the table for a move to Watford that could eventually fall through.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) January 21, 2019
Who is this man's source??? Unless he's talking directly with KMJ or the club, where is he getting this info...?
I guess it's his own opinion: He also said That being said, Kim Min-jae has not officially signed with Beijing Guoan yet and can technically pull out of the deal to pursue a move to Watford. Jeonbuk have already given him the freedom to make the final decision.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) January 21, 2019
According to a Footballist reporter on an Afreeca TV stream, Watford wants to have a conversation with KMJ over the phone. Seems like they really want to hijack the deal.
dude is selectively quoting this article & is adding his own twist to it https://sports.v.daum.net/v/20190121140012911 edit - anyways, the way Jeonbuk chief has acted makes no sense to me... except to pressure Kim MJ to join Beijing Guoan or he is amateurish as F. so far, he has done nothing but create huge distraction to KNT while.. to great degree, escape criticism by creating a narrative for Kim MJ to take the fall.
Steve Han is a propagandist. He's doing it for the likes and follows. Sadly, this is what social media has become.
I don't feel good about this: Kim Min-jae said that he will announce his future after the Asian Cup campaign. #kleague— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) January 23, 2019 if he's going to announce it after then I'm assuming he's going to China. If its Watford, he needs to reveal it before the Asian Cup because the competition ends after PL's transfer window.
