Does anyone know what happened to the guy? He got cut early by Frontale this year but nobody picked him up as far as I know......he was a U-18 and U-19 player......and he disappeared. I think he's only 25 as well.
Thanks for your try.......I did find this in the JFA database, no news on Machida but........I'm not quite sure.......I think this has info on every player that was in the National program, mens team, U-23, etc......kind of interesting stuff on where players are going http://www.jfa.or.jp/family/players/
He had very good jumping and heading abilities.... But I read rumor he had some trouble about personal life , he could not concentrate football. Though only rumor on internet.
Obviously, I do because I posted the question.....but I'll give you some more reasons A. He's only 25 B. Given the talent in J2 and some of the lower squads in J1 it's amazing that this guy hasn't gotten a sniff this year to at least be a practice, sattlelite player and fringe 1st teamer. C. He was on youth squads and U-19s for Japan. At 25, if the guy can figure out how to play better maybe he could be on the fringes of national team radar. I'm curious what happened to him
I just know he played for Reysol and Sanga. He was going to be a good player than he disappeared. Some promising players just do.
Masakiyo Maezono, the ultimate in fallen heroes. Wow I just realized his website is updated, cool. Looks like he works with kids now? Sorry going of topic, well not really we were on about fallen players
On rental from Frontale i think. Speaking of fallen heroes, there was Jo, Isogai, Hirano, Tahara and even Inamoto is on his way to becoming one.
