Poor old Al Karamah went out of ACL action the other day, but have you guys noticed that the AFC recently invited 12 nations to apply to take part in the ACL from 2011, Syria weren't included on the list. Seem's they won't get a shot at ACL action again unti l2013 at the earliest http://www.the-afc.com/en/inside-afc/676-afc-news/26192-12-mas-keen-to-join-acl

Definite dark horses at next year's tournaments really should have been in the final 10 for the World Cup qualifiers. The power generator "failing" with the Syrians 2-0 up (needed to win by three) and attacking is the most blatant incident of cheating I've ever seen in my entire life. Emirati television tried to interview the players after the match most refused to give an interview one guy told the reporter in perfect Arabic "I don't speak Arabic". Ah... gotta love that Syrian wit!

Whatever Mr Clarke Clive, why don't you try out homegrown talent first? If anyone considers this offer, then please forward me 500 first. Mr Clarke, if you are for real then please reply back, but i assume we will never hear anything good from you again
Jordan is a beatable squad... they snuck in here on the last day of qualifying. The Jordanians struggle to control the game for 90' although they were loads better than Singapore in their final clinching match the Singaporeans had plenty of chances to get back into the game. I think Syria beats Jordan and finds away to amass enough points to get through. I think Saudi Arabia might fall victim, they did not impress me at all during the final stages of qualifying. They had direct qualification up for grabs at home and couldn't put a goal past N. Korea, and then choked in spectacular style against Bahrain.
Al Jaish is the new champion with 2 points ahead of Al Karamah. Relegated teams are Jablah and Efrin, Hutteen and Al Futowa promoted.
Well done Al Jaish, champions for the first time since 2003 and broken the recent Al Karamah strangle hold on the championship
